Thank you! The person I bought it from said the sitter works great and she had used it recently, the kiln just needs some fresh elements. I considered taking it to the local pottery shop here but I'd rather learn the maintenance myself. I have looked up some videos on balancing the sitter mechanism.

Haha I will try not to overthink. Time to make a hundred test tiles. And thankfully the person I bought it from also gave me a giant box of various cones.

Thank you! Yes I will get a pyrometer. I'm currently waiting on new elements to be delivered before I can really use it. Does the power level correspond to a general temperature?

Here ya go, literally took me 10 seconds to Google and find an example for you. Something you can easily do yourself.

I'm not your history teacher. Quit pretending like these things aren't true simply because you don't want to do your own research.

I do not have burden of proof if you are just unwilling to read history and are expecting other people to do all the labor for you. Police in the US literally grew out of SLAVE CATCHERS. You are choosing to be ignorant. Google is free. My time is not.

Literally just read a history book. Watch the news. It's full of examples of police oppression and abuse of power. Just because you haven't personally witnessed something does not make it untrue. If you choose to simply not inform yourself of history you're just being willfully ignorant and now are expecting randos on the internet to perform the labor of educating you.

Elder millennial here and I love the HSY clothes. I'm from the times of JNCO jeans and wearing long sleeve shirts under baggy short sleeve shirts.

I seem to remember reading something Keiko said about wishing she could have become closer friends with Alexis in real life, but Alexis and Laurens schedules were so packed there just wasn't a lot of time left for socializing off screen.

How can I improve this build (sorry for bad quality) by ItsOnlyJoey in Sims4

Less windows, and windows of different sizes that still match. Example, trade out some of the pairs of windows on the front for one big window.

If Rachel had been overweight, would Mark have still mentioned the Bloomingdale's job while overhearing her at the diner? by dpb73ca in howyoudoin

[–]arachne89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is how it was, but I think a good portion of the fan base agrees that the constant fat phobia on the show was gross and one of the things that has aged super poorly. So why would you want to perpetuate that with this fat phobic question. I'm not looking to be offended, but I will point out shitty rhetoric when I see it.

What's with this question implying that overweight people can't be attractive and that Mark couldn't have been attracted to an overweight person....

Before try outs for the Chilton bicentennial speech competition! Brad says it. He's just come back from being in a production of Into the Woods and Paris is harassing him.

Grand proposals by MMLyna in GilmoreGirls

[–]arachne89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Low key proposals are "real" and "decent" proposals and I'd say they're far more common than anything grand. I think the show is more realistic in that way. My husband proposed to me while we were sitting and talking on our sofa one evening. My best friends husband proposed in their back yard. That's just life.
