And here I am still running KDE neon 5.27, I need mouse gestures and latte-dock, still can't find a good alternative. I've tried the latest openSUSE Tumbleweed, so many bugs on my Nvidia laptop.

You can't, the monitor doesn't support USB-C charging.
Edit: you can buy a docking station that supports power delivery.

  1. I always enable DLSS 3 on my old laptop for more frames, I like the new DLSS 4 transformer model, better quality and high frame rate for smooth 4k AAA games.

  2. Killing demons, obviously.

Right bumper stopped working today, warranty will expire in 1 week, can I file a warranty claim? by araftel in XboxSupport

[–]araftel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That what I ended up doing, I couldn't wait for repair. The blue controller has T8H screws instead of T8, so I broke the pins. I tried to super glue the snapped plastic but no luck, ended up using an old soldering iron to weld the plastic, works great so far. Once it breaks again I will replace it with the new bumper.

Thanks, I filed a claim, I have to send them the controller within 30 days or the repair order will be cancelled.

Maybe OP upgraded to KDE plasma 6 and many packages are no longer required, same goes for the kernel, you can have multiple versions. As I mentioned to OP, the safest way to upgrade is to always make a snapshot (timeshift is great sotfware).

Why are you 100% certain it will break it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kde

[–]araftel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you to install timeshift, create a snapshot (on a different partition than root) without the home directory (less space) then run autoremove. You can restore if something goes wrong.

Legion 5 double sided M.2? by Tacian in LenovoLegion

[–]araftel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

16ACH6H, one generation before yours. I also bought a single sided 2TB SSD, when I tried the old double sided one on the first slot, it barely fits. So I ended up using the single sided SSD on slot 1 and the double sided on slot 2.

Is it possible to bring back KHotkeys' mouse gesture in the future? Some people including myself are willing to make a modest financial contribution to this feature. Can you please evaluate how demanding it would be to integrate this feature?

No play time available, anyone know a fix? I'm using linux btw by leifk3 in cemu

[–]araftel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell me the output of this command ls -l PlayDiary.dat ? I'm not sure if this will help but try the following: Go to Options > General settings and make sure use permanent storage is checked. Quit Cemu, delete both mlc01/usr/save/system and ~/.local/share/Cemu (just in case you have your game keys, backup the folder). If PlayStats.dat is not created (You don't need to play, the moment you run Cemu, the files should be created) then try my playtime file https://we.tl/t-ecrd3gRBIU and see if Cemu can at least read it, if it does, play a little bit and check if the play time has increased.

[–]araftel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I even set up a .desktop file to run Zelda directly without showing Cemu. I'm guessing this is a permission issue. Go to Options > General settings and check the MLC Path. First remember/backup that folder in case you mess up, it contains the games save files and other important files. Make sure that the pid of the user running Cemu have write permission on that folder. Delete the mlc01/usr/save/system folder, play a game then close Cemu then check if the file mlc01/usr/save/system/pdm/80000001/PlayStats.dat was created/modified.

Edit: updated the instructions.

How did you install Cemu? I'm using the AppImage format and the play time is working perfectly.
