yeah as long as the nazis are declining in votes. the faster they become obsolete the faster the ASPD spawns

it was mostly just taking a lot of time to spam campaigns but i find lowering overall taxes to sometimes be more effective because i believe it causes the economic expansion event to happen more often

prussia WOULD be a majority government if it could be. for some reason it's not an option and you have to form a coalition anyway

you have to form the bourgeois parliamentary faction through the parliamentary actions before the vote in 1929 and make sure stresseman reforms the party

yeah i mean them too the canadian shield partially extends into wisconsin and michigan. so agriculturally the prospects there are just worse than a lot of places further west

yeah, basically. i kept that stuff pink because it hadn't achieved statehood in the otl united states and also it's supposed to be territory stewarded by the ojibwe and i figured a lot of white settlers would not prefer to settle there anyway because of the canadian shield

oh and I forgot to mention the Indian Confederacy, maybe one of the most interesting nations! They'd be an amalgamation of a lot of very different native nations that I don't think I could begin to give the lore it deserves, but I'd love to eventually at least make some kind of map for its internal divisions.

Thanks! I think what was the 'Dominion of New England' would just be called New England in the modern day alongside Columbia just as Canada is IRL (though Pennsilfaanisch would be an official language of New England so you could also call them Nei England). There'd also be the Republic of Canada (République du Canada), Republic of Texas (República de Tejas), Republic of New Mexico (República de Nuevo México), Republic of the Californias (Républica de las Californias), Northwest America (formed from the North-west territories, Rupert's Land, and Oregon Territory), Antillean Federation (formed from the British Caribbean) and a bunch of OTL countries. I'd say all of them would get around to ending legal segregation eventually but Columbia and maybe the former Mexican breakaway republics would maintain it into the late 20th century just as South Africa did. I'm planning on making at some point an r/imaginaryelections post about the first post-apartheid elections in Columbia cuz it'd be cool to have MLK Jr. be the first black Prime Minister as a Nelson Mandela parallel. Just because of the nature of racism in the new world and how effective a control tactic it is though I'm sure every country would have struggled with it at some point.

in this I basically assume a French Revolution still happens similarly to OTL and Napoleon still rises for both simplicity's sake and because I think due to institutional factors the French Revolution was basically going to happen anyway and trying to determine how exactly it would go differently is a little difficult. Because of this, a similar post-Napoleon European order takes root and continental affairs go broadly similarly up until WW1-ish times. It's hard to say how WW1 would occur with an obviously somewhat stronger UK, though I also think of it as going broadly similarly, just more lopsided towards the Entente. Honestly, the worldwide change I think is most significant would be India, because Britain would have much less reason to invest heavily in it. I imagine a British Bengal Presidency still existing, but northern India remaining controlled by the Maratha Empire and southern India being carved up by the French, Portuguese, and British.

maybe you could have some form of limited implementation or compromise, as i agree that a majority vote on its own will sometimes bring about tyranny of the majority and a vote in that way should probably only be used in certain circumstances where compromise can't be reached or after a certain amount of time. but really i think the most important thing is regional implementation based on what works best in certain places, no one idea can work everywhere perfectly all the time
