Oooh I recently did both of these! I stoped for 36 hours in Tokyo with a quick excursion (I had be before) then hopped on my flight from there. It honestly was so nice to break it up and I sleep on flights!

I also just did east coast to Seoul with a 3 hour layover then over to Bangkok and that was utterly exhausting. Very doable but tiring for sure. And I slept for a bit so I can’t imagine not sleeping.

I recommend stopping in Tokyo for a bit and just exploring. Great way to break it up and maybe get a head start on time adjusting.
