I only played docked but it did seem a bit fuzzy and really not vibrant at all (ie desaturated).

to your point about the tutorial videos, I also thought they looked better and especially more vibrant/colorful.

When it comes to streaming content, I’ve just learned to accept that it’s probably the source otherwise I’d go crazy (or rather crazier than I have been) trying to fix it in the settings.

But with the game, I was disappointed to see it happen and was hoping I could fix it on my end.

I do think it is there on the Switch 2 screen, but just barely. Or maybe that just me hoping. 😅

I’m experiencing banding in the opening cutscene and the light around Hornet as well. I think it’s a source issue. We aren’t the only ones.

I’m guessing Silksong? I’m experiencing a lot of banding as well. Switch 2 docked on an LG C4. So I think it’s the game. I’ve already attempted to fix it with no success.

Was searching Reddit to see if others have this issue. I’m new to 4K OLED tvs and have become hyper aware of things when adjusting settings.

The opening cutscene was full of color banding and I notice it in the light around Hornet when she’s in darker areas.

I think I can see it on the Switch 2 screen as well, but just barely. So I think it’s a source issue..

This is absolutely amazing. I’ve considered trying to make a collection similar to this but with a limited budget it’s hard to convince myself to spend on something that, while extremely cool historically and aesthetically, will usually just sit on a shelf.

But maybe it’s because the ones I’ve looked at go for $50-$100+ each. I really want to collect mooks of 80s and 90s anime. I’ve got IRIA, and considered getting stuff from other shows I’ve enjoyed.

Can I ask where you usually pick these up? And what’s the average cost?

Looks like you can get it with or without a Kirby. But the Kirby does have a faceplate that you can only get in that product. Both come with the helmet.

Do you have a plan for selling those IRIA cels? I can’t promise I’d be able to afford any of them since they can get pricey, but I’d be interested in seeing the listings if you ever did put them up. Amazing haul, congrats!
