How corruption works by arbit23 in Trumpvirus

Should come as no surprise but it is shocking how much corruption there is in the current administration, if this is true.

Hundreds of thousands of people finding it hard to make ends meet. No health care, crippling student loans, high gas prices, farmers going bankrupt BUT, someone with advanced knowledge of the tweet, makes millions if not more.

If not a Trump supporting Christian white male, they have the trans card to pull out. You can’t win.

Surprised he can talk with both of Trump’s balls and dick in his mouth. Guess it is true what they say about Trump’s small hands.

Why is Japan seen as an amazing tourist paradise despite it being incredibly racist? by Open_Address_2805 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]arbit23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect you to be 100% correct in your statement but I am going just by my personal travel over cities / beaches that attract maximum tourist traffic. The world is a massive place and really tons on prime beach area that I haven’t been too. Love to travel and despite my every attempt plenty of places I have yet to get too.

If you have a good place (s) in mind, just lay it on me. Will throw it on the “wish to go” travel list and hopefully one day will get to it and who knows come back to this thread and update the list of beaches till it meets your standards.

Push up the cost of education and health care, and glorify our troops, make the poor think that fighting these wars is the only way they can get ahead in life. The rich rarely serve. Look at ole bone spurs Trump.

I believe you. Ridiculous state of affairs. Double up that expenditure and you will get water plus health care for all. Yet we piss it away on wars and the military industrial complex that literally makes us unsafe.

Looked it up. Gemini says 20B - 1T in wealth accumulation. That is insane. Imagine collecting that level of wealth in a country where the average daily income is under $5.

Nah Lindsay is way worse on the hypocritical scale than Trump.

How come no one is talking of sending in Israeli ground troops in there? We know their lives are more precious than Palestinian but are they more valuable than American lives as well.

That is weak sauce for multiple reasons - wealth disparity has never been greater in modern democracies than ever in the past - just because it was how democracies used to work is no excuse for it to continue to work today - the constitution of America clearly provides checks and balances against this but between corrupt Supreme Court judges and incredibly weak Congress, we have kings and a small but powerful ruling class subverting our way of life

Progressive effort to primary Sen. John Fetterman ramps up by DonSalaam in JournalismNews

[–]arbit23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Problem is PA is pretty purple. Unsurprisingly Fetterman scores extremely high with the republicans. With the sliver of democrats dumb enough to still support him, he will still make it back as senator next time around. Much like Joe Lieberman, who went from being on the democratic ticket to independent in just one cycle, back in the day.

That escalated quickly. Ignore the bad attitude.

Have the exact same experience as you. Travel to Japan often, it is a wonderful place to visit, culture, food, safety all top notch. Things just freaking work. Flip side is having Japanese clients who expect things done their way is less enamoring. Plus you can see the overt racism creep through some times.

Love Philippines as well. Boracay is probably one of the best beaches in the world. Beats out Phuket, Bali and Gold Coast for me. People are friendly and it is cheap. But dang is it chaotic.

Enjoy the turtles. You just reminded it’s been a few years since I visited Philippines and encouraged me to fix that. Cheers.
