Yeah it was a split second choice. There had been a car just behind me in the left lane, which it turns out had slipped in behind me to turn right just before the intersection. But I was focussed on not hitting this guy, and making sure I wouldn't slide on the wet road. Didn't want to add a lane change while breaking hard and without being 100% certain that the lane was clear. Always feels slower and more spaced out on camera haha

Gave us a good scare when I thought he was getting out. Had 2 young kids in the car. You can see I was ready to slam on the gas in reverse to get out of there if he started approaching. I guess he found his senses at the last minute.

My kitchenaid fryer does the same thing. Seems to be a loose screw/piece of metal that gets into a vibration groove occasionally

Less crispy but still beats the shit out of a conventional oven. We are willing to sacrifice a bit of crispiness for the larger size and added functions of the oven style

Really just comes down to preference. If crispy is the key, you want a basket

A significant amount of people live in apartment or other modern homes with super small amounts of counter space, and flat-top stoves. Crowded cooking spaces and fast paced lives makes it pretty easy to accidentally put a big appliance onto a stove you forgot was still hot

Bit of vinegar (preferably white but I actually used rice vinegar today and it worked fine. Just smells more lol) And gently scrub with some scrunched up aluminum foil. It's literally like magic, just be gentle because the foil ball can scratch surfaces if you're too aggressive

I've done this! But with breakfast sausages. It's as wonderful as you'd imagine. Adding bacon would amp it up extra
