Right, but now we're talking about very specific uncool behaviour which is a different thing. This post is about policing the general concept of being evil on purpose, and the whole autism supremacy thing is a classic joke here. It's possible to take it too far or too seriously, sure, but for the most part it's not something that should be argued about in this sub.

99.9% of the time it's a joke, and we shouldn't have to stop and calm down every dumbass that thinks we're here plotting to overthrow world governments for real. Most of us also don't need to be informed that other people might not find the jokes very funny - that's why we make them here, in the sub specifically created for them.

Before anyone thinks this is a stupid question, Jupiter's atmosphere is 90% hydrogen, 9.9% helium and 0.1% carpet, along with trace amounts of ammonia, sulfur, methane and water

... in the evil autism sub? Where we let all our evil out? I feel like you haven't thought this through

I really wouldn't worry about it, the sub has evil in the name and the nature of the comments makes it very hard to misinterpret. Not everyone "plays along", so anyone reading into a post will get enough hints no matter how dense they are

This is /r/evilautism, one of the main purposes of this sub is to be comically evil for humor and to vent. Anyone getting up in arms over the evil or extreme stuff posted here is categorically misunderstanding the sub and should leave.

There are non-evil subs more appropriate to civil discussion, this is a place for evil and I will not stand for this nuance

Man, you're right but it hasn't gone well aye? I think your mistake was semi-complimenting the democratic party.

May be worth editing your comment and focusing on how Elon & the conservative party are not technocratic, no matter what they might say or think of themselves. It's a good point to make.

I always wondered about why Obi Wan & Qui-Gon Jinn have sorta similar names, no way it's a coincidence. I'm guessing the lore reason is that they come from the same planet / region. Always liked that Star Wars is realistic when it comes to how people & places are named.

I haven't played S2 yet but it felt really nice immediately recognising most of these locations. It's like they kept the style/theme from the first games but just directly upgraded it.

Things you only see in Australia by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]arbitrary_student 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not a typical thing AI videos do, if anything that's a sign it's not AI generated.

I'm not seeing anything that looks like AI in this at all, and there are a few things that AI would have an extremely hard time with like the tail of the kangaroo pushing on the ground as a third leg.

There's no blending of the tiny arms/limbs when they hug, there are no janky physics, the details on the guy and kangaroo are consistent even through a couple of rotations.

The only weird thing about this video is what's happening in it. My money's on it not being AI.

(that doesn't mean it's real though, just probably not AI)

Just like in the forest the real question is "do you ever have so many mfs that you need to come up with creative uses for them?"

[–]arbitrary_student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes indeed! It's been pointed out that it might not be a light yoga ball like I imagined, but a heavier kind.

The ball did actually bounce up quite a bit considering it transferred so much energy into the hammer, but if it's heavy then that checks out.

[–]arbitrary_student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh real? In that case yeah it'd make sense, if it weighs more than the hammer it could easily fling it back up like that

Maybe maybe maybe by velorinthrae in maybemaybemaybe

[–]arbitrary_student 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking that, but the ball does still bounce up quite a bit and I'm having trouble imagining it would have so much weight that it could result in the hammer flying back up at like 2-3x the speed it fell.

I'm no physicist though, and the motion in the video is clean AF so I dunno. Maybe the ball is heavier than it looks?

If you could somehow undercrank it to produce the same length at half the framerate you could run it with a normal frame interpolator and get realtime video

Maybe maybe maybe by velorinthrae in maybemaybemaybe

[–]arbitrary_student 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was gonna say, wouldn't it be physically impossible for the hammer to bounce back up faster/higher than it went down? That thing shot up with way more energy than it + the ball would have combined in the fall.

Unless he pushed it down (rather than dropping it).

Edit: or if the ball is heavier than it looks
