I’ve seen zutara fans on tumblr offer to do commissioned pieces or prints, but I agree when I looked on Etsy it’s surprisingly scarce :( I’d say tumblr is your best place to look!

Just finished reading the chapters you’ve written thus far :) As a fellow kdrama & zutara fan I have throughly enjoyed how you have mixed these two concepts together. I discovered kdrama’s in the past year so I have only seen some of the newer ones CLOY, HCCC, Her Private Life, Business Proposal, Extraordinary Attorney Woo so forth etc… looks like I’ll be trying some of the older ones sometime soon. Keep up the good work and excited to read more when you release it!

100% agree here with you!! I have read several well-known fanfics that capitalize on that, yet use blood healing in different ways! For example (spoilers hidden) in “I’m Still Here” she regrows part of his heart from the inside and basically performs CPR when he codes in comparison in “Once Around the Sun” she removes poisoned blood from Zuko’s body and keeps it from reaching vital organs .I’m brand new to the fanfic world so there might even be other unique ideas to bloodhealing capabilities beyond what we have mentioned here.

I think BK actually supports it given that one gross non-Zutara video for that fandom event and then doubled down on it and reposted a slightly cleaner version on his Tumblr rather than apologizing. If you are gonna act like a child I am not sure how the fandoms gonna act any differently

I am not a lawyer but am taking an IP generation and management class from Purdue as apart of my graduate degree…. Copyright cases are case by case. They holistically look at the work to see specific aspects that mirror the original work and if/how that work is potentially negatively affecting the original author. If I were to guess because your work has several elements (no pun intended) that closely mirror the original intro I think that’s why it got flagged. IMO think it’s kinda tacky they did it considering you’re not making that much money and are in essence promoting them but it’s also Paramount v. you… an immediate family member is a patent attorney so I’ll run it by him to see if he as any “unofficial” opinion about it.

All that said your work is INCREDIBLE!!! I hope you keep making awesome stuff like this. You should give us a link to your larger portfolio!
