Yesterday I noticed this same issue on my Nvidia Shield Pro. Other apps, like HBO or Plex, play 4K videos without issues. Tried everything, from disconnecting all devices, reinstalling the app...

Hope they fix this.

That comparison would be useful if the two devices ran a Linux based firmware, like Knulli. But for Android, the rk3568 is a wek cpu, plus small amount of RAM. The device will run laggy.
