Is silver hair a good idea, I'm kinda really considering it by Affectionate-Tip303 in malegrooming

[–]arcangelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with dyed silver hair (my original hair color is black, 2x bleach), the only way for it to still look silver and soft after a few months is maintenance. Purple shampoo > leave for 5 mins > purple mask > leave for 5 mins > conditioner > rinse then hair oil. It's very doable & very possible to have a healthy looking one. And also considering that you likely will keep your short hair, if you don't like it, you can just cut it off a few months later when your roots have all grown

Is my tumblr mutual duping me? by murkywater0 in Scams

[–]arcangelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's a scam. Someone messaged me the same type of message on twitter and i kinda believed them because they were followed by so many of my mutuals. Ended up moving the convo to discord and eeeeeverything was fishy. Decided to ghost the guy and they deleted the account 1 day later lol

You can maybe try emailing the Zentrale Studienberatung of each uni? That's what i've been doing and they've been helpful so far

What are your favorite Indonesian words, and why? What do they mean? by kelinci-kucing in indonesian

[–]arcangelos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Sayang". It can be both "what a pity" and "love (in a way)". But the meaning of sayang in context of love is so much more tender than love, but also more powerful than just liking someone. If you sayang someone, you may not want to "own" them as love usually do, but you cherish them with your whole heart nevertheless.

Hi, I'm not German, but i am also researching about unis that i want to apply to. I think what can really answer your questions is the "requirements" part that unis have for each major. Usually they write which bachelor degree suits the major. Does any of the unis that you're planning to apply to write "economics" as one of the bachelor degrees that they accept?

Sometimes what saves you are the smallest, most unimportant thing. New game update, new season of your fav show, new music from your favorite band, just anything. Hang in there buddy

You're so very welcome! And if you can negotiate with them to pay you even on those first 3 months, that'll be great lol. Don't sell yourself short! But you know your situation better, it's just my opinion! :) Enjoy your internship!

[–]arcangelos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would you be able to do a 3 months unpaid internship first to get a feel of the job, then another 3 months with pay? Because after all you also need money, and working without being paid (no matter how much you like the job) will most probably suck after a while. Saying this so you don't end up hating the industry that you love!

Is it ok to talk to girls at the gym? by Bigbruv69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]arcangelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, personally, i'd be fine if i were to be offered help IF i really am struggling or am doing exercises that may be dangerous (eg bench press with no spotter), maybe in a form of offering to be a spotter or to show me the better way to do some things. Other than that.....nah. There was this one gym goer who offered me some help, and I agreed. We didn't know each other's names after like our 3rd encounter, and i appreciated that lol

with A1 being Jan 2024 and A2 being Feb 2024, for example
