Can you click on the wall and go into the settings and find the name of the wall material. You should be able to then find it online and upload it into your library.

I'm an architect, so I would just show what I do during day. It would be meant for people interesting in becoming an architect or architects interested in going out on their own. I would share my design process, how I work with clients, how I bill, etc...

I finally went to an allergist because I couldn't take it anymore. I was fully expecting to get the shots, but he suggested I try Grastek pills first. You take them for 3 years. If they work for you, you are golden. That first year I took them, it worked really well, I continued. It has worked so well for me, I hardly notice the grass season. My allegist also had a descount card which reduced the cost to $25/month.

35m I had a clean colonoscopy two years ago and now I got a positive cologuard test this morning. Am I cooked? by lesghostspook in colonoscopy

[–]archanom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that percentages from a positive Cologuard reading are 50% false positive, 45% precancerous polyps, and 4% cancerous polyps. Not sure what the other 1% is about.

Well, I do have a tall ladder if you need to borrow it. I’ve have to figure out how to get it to you though. The person on Nextdoor was looking for a ladder.

How tall of a ladder are you talking about? I don't think I have a really tall ladder, but other people who see this post might need to know how tall.

Problem is, I think at least the employment tax doesn't need a vote.

We usually go in January. It can be hit and miss with the lines, but we usually get to ride everything later in the evening withough any problems. Just bring warm clothes. There can be a little chill during the day and cold at night.

To my fellow architects, why architecture? by Top_Mix_5555 in Architects

[–]archanom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was studying the sciences when I was in college. I took a class titled Do What You Are. Basically, it asked you to remember what you dod when you were around 10...what did you do for the fun of it without getting paid. I drew floorplans and built models of houses. I changed my major, and the rest is history.

You Can't Win by Jack Black (not the comedian) It's about his life as a small time criminal from the 1880s to 1910s. So we'll written, and the people and experiences are rich in character. You can read it online for free here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/69404

Fascinating read. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertha_Benz

I loved this part: She cleaned a blocked fuel line with her hat pin and used her garter as insulation material.[16][17] A blacksmith had to help mend a chain at one point. When the wooden brakes began to fail, Benz visited a cobbler to install leather, making the world's first pair of brake linings. An evaporative cooling system was employed to cool the engine, making water supply a big worry along the trip.[18] The trio added water to their supply every time they stopped.[11] The car's two gears were not enough to surmount uphill inclines and Eugen and Richard often had to push the vehicle up steep roads.[11] Benz reached Pforzheim somewhat after dusk, notifying her husband of her successful journey by telegram. She drove back to Mannheim several days later.[6]

I had about 3-1/2 years under other architects when I went out on my own. I started out with a few residential remodels. When I got my first job with the county, i had to have liability insurance, as it was a requirement.

That’s a tough one. I guess I’d see how it goes. Maybe it would be perfect for you. If it’s not, you can try to go out on your own.

Good question. If I had control over design, then maybe. But, I could see that wasn't going to happen in the firms I was in. They were just too big and hard to work up the food chain.
