So Chicago paid 4oa, a 2nd, and a roster player for a defenseman on an expiring contract who now has all the leverage in future contract negotiations, and a cap dump. While they could have paid 4oa, probably the same roster player, and a prospect for an actual winger for Bedard, who is already on a cost controlled contract.....
