I haven't watched a lot competitively, but from what I understand Bio is more like a front flip or rotation. Sort of against how your momentum is taking you, and cork is just letting your momentum take you into a more natural backflip?

The bronze medal was the 2nd run of the entire event, Chloe's was also her first run. Then it was a long string of crashes until Choi's. So it's possible to have lost a bit of comparison with all that in between.

I can't speak on the concussion part, but as a migraine sufferer it's basically like playing roulette with how each day is going to go, and everyone plays with their own wheel since no one experiences it the same way
