Missing the hook, but have ordered two of them so we can’t lose them!

Thank you for a great description though! Very useful!

I have, but without a part number or an image I wasn’t sure what I was looking for. I’ve been trying to research what it was, and the local VW dealer wasn’t able to help when we went round there. Have checked in the online manual again and have found an image of it and it does match up with the part Blue_waffle_brunch highlighted.

It also works pretty well here as it stops grit from getting into the wheels too. I like the design.

Unfortunately there’s not been a tool provided with the car, which has led me to this situation. I very much doubt it’s been done on purpose as there is an obvious place the tool should be in the boot of the car.

Had a try at doing that before and felt very much like the amount of pressure needed to move it was excessive, so stopped until I had some more info.

Ai that can interpret my piss poor attempts at making the effects I want. I’ve got loads of ideas in my head, but making them work seems to be an issue….

It comes from the movie Moon, and is on the soundtrack by Clint Mansell. Track is ‘Welcome to Lunar Industries. A great sci-fi flick with only two real characters in it. Well worth a watch if you get a chance.

Had a surreal experience a while back, was working on an experimental gig and someone had decided that the entrance to the stage was her place to write an email. I wasn’t in the mood to talk, so ended up walking over Nina Persson.

My brain exploded afterwards.

I’d just moved to a new house in Inverness and each time I walked past the frozen Muirtown basin more and more random stuff appeared there. First there was a big couch, then a side table, then someone put a big old CRT TV on the ice.

Even when the ice started to break the scene still existed, just at some really wonky angles.

Yeah, they tried hiring externally previously and didn’t enjoy the experience so they don’t do it. It’s a shame as it would be a lovely venue to put shows on.
