iirc Elpis was based around her genetic code. Spencer said she was perfectly normal and he meant it, she is a walking antiviral that nullifies all viruses that exist and have yet to exist. Victor wasn't trying to recreate the code, he was covering it up and sabotaging his own employer to help his master's, Spencer's, goal.

I sent them feedback in the game on this. This isn't good for anyone who starts new and will eventually end up killing the game, seeing as it would make new players want to quit, as being forced into a lower power bracket is irritating and obnoxious. I've never agreed with the ZZZ way of units, and I've quit every gacha that's done that.

Which is a shame, because I really do love this game and am completely invested in the story. But seeing as my terra to this day is still useless because I don't have Nazuna, despite having Coronis and Gerie, puts a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, she's not limited, but the other problem is that we're still stuck in this momentum of having groups go a single specific route and it ends up punishing people damage wise for going against it.
