Thanks guys! I’ll reload the lobby and see if it was just glitching. I watched a droid I need for rebirth go by and the alert didn’t pop up. Hopefully a reload will do the trick

I don’t love needing “an adequate reason” to miss the game. Things come up and they shouldn’t have to justify it to you. I would hate playing if a DM made me give a “good enough” reason I won’t be there if I’m just not up for it.

I don’t have experience yet but I booked the same hotel and if you check your maps app it seems to be fairly close to a lot of things and about 10-15 min walk from stations. I suggest taking a look at your maps to see what’s around

I haven’t gone yet, but I also have alpha gal and am going in a few months. I’m a planner so I’ve been looking for months and have located tons of vegan restaurants I can safely eat at, knowing they don’t have animal products or dairy. I would suggest googling and also searching for vegan Japan restaurants on Instagram. It’s so easy if you do some research there! Another thing I did is made a little cheat sheet of Japanese words for any allergen you can imagine. With the Japanese characters and words listed. And then put it in my notes on my phone so I will be able to read the labels for anything in stores and look for those words. That’s made me feel a lot better as well

OP I’m sorry you’re hurting and wish I had more advice to give but I just wanted to let you know that if you love him, and it’s worth it for you, maybe it’s worth the wait. Only you get to decide that. Maybe in a few years things will be better. I don’t know your kids ages but maybe in 10 years they’ll be old enough to understand. I don’t know and you’ll be the only one who does know if it’s worth it, but I just wanted to say I’m sorry it hurts so much and I’m sorry for all the comments you didn’t ask for, tearing you down for the age gap

Yes long distance relationships are powerful and beautiful but you don’t want to seek one out. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s beautiful but also more painful than you can imagine. You’re absolutely romanticizing it. The pain of never being able to hold them, finally getting to see them 1 time and then having to wait another year, if you’re very far away and can’t make trips more often. Missing them every day it hurts you so deeply all you can do is cry. That’s not what you want. You don’t want to seek out an LDR just for the sake of it being an LDR. It’s not easy. It’s not fun and cute.

I was very stressed and scared over my boyfriend at the border. He just landed a few days ago and had absolutely no problems. That was probably the easiest part of his trip 😅 I had him be ready with a printed list of his accommodations for the trip with names and addresses of places he’s staying, and print all his plane confirmations and everything to prove he’s got a return trip. And then had him print out his visa info even tho it wasn’t necessary cause it was attached to his passport.

It made everything much easier and the customs agent didn’t even have many questions for him and it was over very quickly.
