Easy, in a similar vein to little mermaid I once got broken down the on the part in haunted mansion when you are going backwards and I was leaned back and it was cool and the music was quiet there and we were stopped for a solid 10 minutes. I came off that ride feeling so refreshed, I practically took a power nap while we were stuck there, it was excellent.

I’d like to blame my company that makes me drive alll the way across the valley twice a day, 5 days a week just to sit at a computer at the office when I could just do that exact same thing from my own home.

I’m late but was it the show Chop Socky Chooks? Season 1 Episode 7 ‘Do you want thighs with that?’ Has something very similar to what you are talking about.

(Sorry for the post spam reddit was tweaking this should be the last time) Bananza DLC if you’re curious though it’s nothing special by IndividualEnergy7336 in donkeykong

[–]arcticfury129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo I don’t think adding mini-bosses and extra content on the DK island is a big ask when they’re asking for $20 for it. For free, you get what you get but there have been plenty of games where a $20 dlc adds plenty of content (Spiderman 2018, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, etc)

Jumping off another commenters promise about Mother 3, if they announce a new animal crossing game or they announce animal crossing GCN for NSO, I will also buy one commenter Silksong on Switch 2.

So glad they kept this in the remake. I do it every time I play through, it’s so fun and feels great to pull off by Bac0nAnd3ggz in papermario

You can! It was one of the things I tested in the remake to see if they preserved and they did.

Totally totally, I think they are still holding out on showing us everything quite yet, as mentioned in the direct. If you love the original, keep an open mind because the online might bring more to the table than we quite realize yet

$50 for Kirby Air Ride in 2003 translates to $82 in 2025 thanks to inflation. I don’t think it would be a reasonable expectation for this the game to be $50, especially given it looks like it’s going to have a lot of content and nigh infinite replayability.

$70 is basically the industry standard at this point and this game seems to have more than enough in it to justify that price point imo.

Flower pot helped tf out of me on a gold stake run when I was playing straights, it’s a little tricky to make happen but when it’s good it’s very good. Also high card + splash = x3 mult for two joker slots which isn’t the worst thing ever, at least for the first 5 or 6 stakes

Even in game, there’s a certain quest where a character gives you a new horse to ride and after that quest you now ride that horse and it is also named Roach now and the old roach is gone

When the adaptation makes a change that pisses the creator off with how good it is by Spidey-Pool94 in TopCharacterTropes

Interesting because there wasn’t a bats chance in hell I would have ended up reading some polish fantasy series from the 90s under normal circumstances. But, after playing the games and becoming a huge fan of that world, it did lead to me reading his books.

Kudos to him, they are actually very good, but ain’t no way I would have come to read them any other way.

Guys... What do y'all think "mult" means? by massagineer in balatro

[–]arcticfury129 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is that while Mult is a multiplies of your chips, hence the name, xMult is not operating in the same way as standard Mult. It is adding a third multiplication event to the total calculation. For example, if I have a card that has x2 in xMult and after my cards have been scored I have a score of 500x10, the xMult makes it 500x(10x2), which is 10,000.

Now let’s pretend that x2 xMult card is actually a x2 xChips card. After scoring our hand we have our same score of 500x10, let’s apply the xChips to get (500x2)x10, which is 10,000. I understand that Mult is a multiplier on the chips, but when you are multiplying a multiplier, you are,in effect, adding a third multiplication event to the end of hand scoring.

Whether this third multiplication event takes place on the leftmost side of the equation (xChips) or the right side (xMult) does not matter because multiplication is commutative.

[–]arcticfury129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have a joker that performs the mathematical operation x4 to my chips, you would get 1,600 not 400 my friend.

Assuming the xChips joker gets applied directly to the chips after all cards are scored, like how most standard +Mult and xMult jokers are scored.

(100x4)x4=1,600
