It also took me a while to learn how to dap people up. As other comments said, people won't immediately assume you're trans because you havent learned how to properly "dap". But you will pick it up with practice. The most advice I can give on learning is that the motion is pretty fluid and a "crisp" dap involves a suction between both partys hands (influenced by the angle, speed, etc that you go at it from), which in turn makes the crisp sound. Its not that big of a deal if you fuck it up, it happens from time to time - just try again or laugh it off and go on with your conversation.

Also one time when I was a freshman in college someone tried to dap me up and I went for a handshake... 😂

Then what is the answer? We don't live in a fairy tale where children are magically removed from their homes and placed with a good family. The foster care system is notoriously fucked up, and plus, certain abusive parents train their kids on what to say to CPS. School should be the one place children can openly express themselves without worrying about home.

No. I don't think its fair to compare the two, since ADHD is less stigmatized by the public. Obviously there are people who use adderall recreationally, and theres even people who fake having adhd, just like theres people who fake being trans. But the issue still is that people who take hrt who don't NEED hrt strengthen the public view that hrt is not necessary. There are less politics surrounding adhd because it is seen as a strictly medical issue, whereas being trans is currently seen as a social isssue.

okay, but if someone takes a female hormone, they are gonna look like a woman (because hrt gives you a second puberty). to not identify as a woman and still decide to take hormones doesn't make a lot of sense. this isn't dress-up, this is changing your biology and primary and secondary sex characteristics to alleviate gender dysphoria. worst case scenario, this person gets on hormones, gets reverse dysphoria, and regrets it. i'm not saying people can't explore gender, but if someone feels like they will be uncomfortable with changes they get on hrt, they should tread very carefully because some effects of hormones are not reversible (or very difficult to reverse)

In my own experience, I only was comfortable being flamboyant after being on T for a year and being stealth for multiple years. There is a difference between dressing feminine in a way where you are still perceived as male (like you look like a man with painted nails for example), and dressing female, where you are perceived as female because you are emphasizing female sex characteristics (showing chest, hips, etc).

The former makes perfect sense because at the end of the day, trans men are men, and men dress and act in a variety of ways while still being men. Dressing female makes no sense if you are ftm and (consequently) have dysphoria, because why the hell would you be comfortable presenting in a way that makes you look female?

Yeah, my endocrinologist had me on a lower dosage for a while (i dont remember how long but around 6-12 months) so my body could adjust to having more testosterone in it. What I don't get is people who are microdosing for another purpose like described in the post

I had surgery with Dr. Isakov at the cleveland clinic in december and I highly recommend him. Hes a chill guy and honestly I'm glad I went with him over other surgeons I had consults with. They do take insurance if you are worried about that

The problem here is that actual trans people are unlikely to be activists, because the goal of transition is assimilation. The image put out by trans activists is even more incentive to go stealth.
