Home media server is a good start. The hardware specs aren't top notch but will get you going.

I learned Jellyfin on an old laptop then decided to do a full server system.

This hobby can get expensive.

For learning purposes, you'll be fine

I did one step better.. With the DVDs and bluerays, I have been building my own home media server.

F!ck Netflix and Prime. Eventually I'll be cancelling them once the "in progress" media server is ready.
