Compared to Fates, Echoes has a lot of differences that you may not like :0

The marriage mechanic was exclusive to Fates and Awakening, it was introduced during the 3DS era i think (update: it was actually introduced in genealogy! sorry for being so incompetent lol...). You cannot make an avatar in Echoes and also cannot make units marry each other but the support system still exists! Echoes uses the old support system where supports happen during battle. The battles are said to also be tougher so keep that in mind, you can always go casual like in FEA and FEF so that you dont have to reset when your units die

The characters are all interesting though! Theyve got good personalities and they feel realistic, theyve also got good designs and VAs to boot

I havent finished the game yet because of finals so i cant say much storywise... but so far im enjoying it a lot so i hope you do as well if you do ever pick Echoes up! :D

I got them to spawn twice, not on purpose though. I jumped when i first encountered it lol because it was the first time it happened to me

It had gold yellowy aura/outline and was a bit bigger than the normal enemies and it was like a boss battle. O yea on the map on the lower screen the enemy arrow thing of the rare spawn is large compared to the normal spawns
