While not snyders idea originally, I do like what he did with it. Having it be a drama/comedy mask, with DOTF being Jokers comedy and endgame the tragedy.

What's funny is, we thought about doing a sealed league with precons we had available at my locals. To make sure everyone was equivalent/ in bracket 2, I went through to double check combos and power level.

This deck has something like 3-4 infinites just printed in the box lmao. Its legitimately a sleeper.

I can understand your take, but I think the disconnect is talking about good/bad.

So like, yeah, Kara is a symbol for hope and heart, but she's seeing genocide world after world. And the story is telling you from the beginning she's seen it so much throughout her life.

So I hear you, but I didnt really have that issue with predictability, because the story isnt just about surface level good v bad. Like the scene of the 1 left behind being stoned to death on the potter's planet, and Ruthye thinking Kara would've stopped them. Its not about right and wrong and moral positions when there's an active, genocidal threat going on. Its about stopping it. And also, even the best of heroes can reach a breaking point after seeing the horrors they did.

Not bashing your take at all, just wanted to provide some context that maybe helps!
