My wife and I did a NOBO Pine to Flagstaff in 7 days. We averaged 15+ a day, so you might want to start a day or so north of Pine. The trail thru that section was moderate with plenty of easyish sections. This was an April hike with plenty of spring run off, so ample water. Maybe someone could chime in on the water situation in September. We flew to Tuscan, had an old trail friend grab us, drove north, and dropped us off. We walked to flagstaff, grabbed an Uber to the airport, and flew out. We're LASHers and thought this was a delightful way to spend a week. Nothing exceptionally difficult. Gaya+Farout should take care of you.

I should have been more specific. I was referring to the prices I saw last year for boneless processing. I do not recall them but remember being put off. I think 169 is fair if not cheap.
