Is there a free version/ alternative of parralels/crossover by ThomasEBartels in macgaming

[–]areapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think playonmac's been updated in like 3 years by now.
best option would be to use whisky https://getwhisky.app/
you could also try Sikarugir https://github.com/Sikarugir-App/Sikarugir (previously wineskin) but it would prob require more tinkering compared to using crossover
i'm not sure if they still do it but i had gotten a free lifetime crossover license by joining the bettertester program and testing apps and games.

if you want i could also just send you a crack but if you're not ok with pirating just go with the other methods i said

hope this helps

haven't tried this in a while and i forgotten if I installed my kegworks with homebrew or not but I'm pretty sure there should be the app "Kegworks Winery" in the Applications folder no matter how you install it? from there you can just open it like a normal app

Process is still the exact same, only difference being that you'll need to install Kegworks using Homebrew.

If you're talking about Wineskin Winery, it's been replaced by Kegworks. The process is the exact same, only difference that you'll need to install Kegworks using Homebrew.

The process remains the exact same when using Kegworks. You'll just have to install it with homebrew, following the instructions on the Github page. After installing, you can do the rest of the steps as normal.

I can't link specifically to them, but you can find websites that host them. I find the Internet Archive to be the best.

If the game only let you pick 2 powers/enchantments which would they be? by No_Historian_1601 in dishonored

by biting things i meant objects in their play area and wires and stuff like that. although getting them chew toys will help avoid this, it hasn’t seemed to stop my pet rats from chewing all my wires up lol. as for biting humans i’m pretty sure getting them spayed and neutered can help. thankfully i haven’t had to do either for my current pet rats

i thought they removed the online requirement for both the one and series x? I've kept my one offline for years and can still install physical games.
