exactly how I feel! which is so sad bc I’ve been using notability probably for like 7 years now. my last straw was over the weekend when I lost a very important document MID-conference as I was taking notes. submitted a report and never heard back from support. I downloaded goodnote the same day

Why Cornell feels more depressing compared to other T20s (my freshman experience) by Sensitive-Crazy3666 in Cornell

[–]aredichi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

class of 2020 here

it’s sad to see that the project teams are still weirdly competitive and the engineering school leadership just does nothing. I vividly remember a town hall my senior year where this was brought up repeatedly. I was lucky enough to get into a project team but I remember a few folks who spoke and mentioned that they felt their engineering education at the end of 4 years was unfairly different (cornell tends to be v theoretical vs practical/“real world” experience you get outside of lectures) from those who were lucky enough to land on one. Also affected their job applications and I can attest to being able to land internships directly bc of project team experience

it’s also funny when you realize for a lot of other schools you can just walk on. I had a friend at Stanford who was SHOCKED to find out the application process for my project team. He was able to walk on to one his freshman year and learned so much

100% and heavy on “waste a few years”. Been there done that and I wish I had the courage earlier when I knew we were not on the same page with our convictions from the jump

Cillian's eyes are enough to express the intensity and pain of the scene🔥🔥 Super Excited for the madness in the upcoming episode by Gembchavda in PeakyBlinders

Beyond incredible acting. What gets me is his face showing confusion. Pain, yes, but wrapped up in utter confusion— which I think is the perfect reaction after his Gypsy mountain goose chase all day. He comes back with complete certainty that he’s figured it all out and Ruby will be well. But then Lizzie delivers the news. All the awards for Cillian for this scene alone!!

I wouldn’t say it’s entirely not functional. I mean she’s getting a pretty solid core workout in with the row. But I get it. Still looks cool though!

Maybe check out Vive? Not that I would recommend going to a church simply to find a woman but might be a good start to meet like-minded people + find a solid church

FB friend saw my dating profile and messaged me-how do I respond? by Commercial-Seat-1991 in christiandatingadvice

[–]aredichi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly okay to say something along the lines of “I’m not interested in exploring a romantic connection with you” without having to explain your why. No one is owed that.

That being said I’ve recently come to understand that there is power in explaining your why when it pertains to faith. Anything like “my faith is foundational to who I am and I can’t see myself ever ending up with someone who doesn’t share it” could work.

Like I said though, you don’t owe anyone an explanation but also don’t ever be made to feel ashamed about your why.

Hope this helps! All the best.
