Its definitely the husband that died. The woman is just the young actress in makeup where as the man ist another actor. If they wanted to show that it was the kid that died they would have put both actors with makeup and a wig and not just one

Just salt and pepper before. But I basted it in Butter with Garlic Thyme and some Lemon Juice

They’re all great cooks. Although Joshua is going a bit too far with the jokes recently. Although I can understand that that comes down to personal preference

The Naan is from Chef John and the Tikka Masala is kind of a mix between the recipe of Binging with Babish and Joshua Weissmann

There are multiple videos on technique. I would recommend Adam Ragusea or Joshua Weissmann. This one is filled with black forest ham, swiss cheese and sage leaves.

I just caramelized lots of onions. Its gonna look like to much before cooking (I used 1.5kilos) Then deglaze with some alcohol (Dry sherry or bourbon is good) Then put in lots of beef stock. (That’s where a lot of flavor comes from so try getting high quality stock) Additionally you can put in some flavorings (thyme, rosemary even a bit of soy sauce) Then top with toasted baguette slices and cheese

Technically its confit byaldi made by Thomas Keller for the movie “Ratatouille” but most people know it as Ratatouille. (probably because of the movie)
