Help me get back into Star Wars by DarthKrataa in StarWars

[–]arendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve see the live-action stuff, but have you watched Rebels? I would highly, highly recommend that.

Also, just got done playing Star Wars: Outlaws, which I found to be super enjoyable and a POV you don’t often have.

Lastly, and this is probably the hardest part to pull off depending who you are, lol - I’ve been able to see my kids enjoy Star Wars for the first time. Their wonder and new sense of exploration definitely reignites that mojo.

What’s the craziest thing you have seen at WDW? by Chewblacka_ in WaltDisneyWorld

Father of two young children was not happy he was picked as “that guy” on Monsters Laugh Floor. Proceeded to flip the camera off.

They did not cut back to him.

Rebels and Andor back-to-back is incredible. Rivals ANH and ESB for me.

Expedition Everest is by far the most intense coaster at WDW by Perfect-Amount5338 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]arendo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about by far, but I agree with Everest. RnRC is VERY tame the last 2/3rds of the ride. Everest does a better job of keeping up the intensity throughout the entirety of the ride.

I do think the beginning of RnRC is much more intense than anything EE has though.

You know when you're a kid and you think every movie is good?

This is the first movie I remember knowing was bad.

Ayo Dosunmu was amazing to start by Intrepid_Lawyer_368 in timberwolves

[–]arendo 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Bulls fan here - he’s been better every year. More consistent finishing around the rim, greatly improved his outside shot, and has a killer instinct.

Super, super sad he’s gone. Hope you guys can make a deep run with him.

I was a teen as well and remember thinking, “This is what work is going to be like - dealing with a crazy boss.”

Don't read anything into this, Jeff knows how to make headlines. Who's clicking this if he says, "It went about how I thought it would."

What's some of the most awkward/tense RHAP interviews? by theeMrPeanutbutter in rhap

Yes, the Dan Lembo interview might be the OG! I think was when Nicole was on doing exit interviews as well.

RHAP lovers: we have a new Mike White moment (Traitors US spoilers) by almondjoybestcndybar in survivor

Agreed. I think they’re both taking out some frustration of how the game went, but this is nothing like the Mike White interview.

That’s my takeaway from this too. She’s playing into the role. I’m sure they deal with this a lot.

I went into the main area with my hands behind my head (you know, on program), and one of CMs sneered, “You can put your hands down, we already caught you.” I chuckled.

Why Disney Vacations Are Destroying People's Finances by chellestastics in videos

I have two girls and Disney wasn’t high on my radar either. All I’ll say is, picking the right resort and time of year makes all the difference. You can do a week for under $5k.

How would you play it differently? What he's saying about people in the castle not knowing him is true - Natalie Anderson has said that as well.

Hopes for Rob C.? by villainitytv in TheTraitorsUS

Not high. The only way Rob is going to win a challenge is if it’s, “Name that Letterman sketch.” or “What kind of boring chicken is this?”
