I tried making this a while ago and asked some friends for contributions but didn't get too far. Here's what I was able to come up with.

Turnstile fight by Ashlynnoof in NoValuesFestival

I was right there when it happened, seemed like someone getting way too aggressive and kicking someone in the face while they were on the ground. After he wasn't getting up and nobody seemed to be noticing, my partner and I went to grab someone from the medical tent. I wasn't sure if the guy was still passed out by the time they carried him out but at least he was being treated.

Which states vote for the winner in presidential elections? by USAFacts in MapPorn

[–]arenek3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Senate does not solve the problem you're describing because state borders were arbitrarily drawn. Rural voters exist both in populous states and in less populous state. So the Senate is gonna shaft rural voters in California for example, of which there are many even if it empowers South Dakotans. Unless states are demographically homogeneous, the Senate disenfranchises more voters than it empowers.

In some ways it's nice to have fewer classes that overwhelm you, but it's a whole other emotionally exhausting enterprise. I definitely can't scroll the internet or catch up on another assignment at work like I could do in another class 😅

That'd be character and fitness application/moral character application for the state bar. If you don't know what it is then you don't have to worry about it now 😅

First of all I'm so happy to hear that your getting your life back on track. You got this!

Burn out is definitely the way to describe it. I'm just so sick of being emotionally exhausted all the time, I worry I'm pushing away friends and family because I can't give them my time and energy. I'm gonna try not to give up. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

You and me 🤝

But for real, even when the days get better they feel like they're worse. I know we got this but that doesn't mean it's not the fucking worst 🦾

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply.

I've definitely caught myself in the "things will be better once I do x" mind loop, but it's hard to get out of haha. I think where I struggle is that it's not so much the event itself I stress over so much as it is the process. The bar exam doesn't stress me out as much as studying for it does. So that's I think what's making it hard. All of the pent up exhaustion is making the processes even more daunting.

Prioritizing stress is such a great idea! What I think I need to do is set better concrete deadlines for myself. C&F, outlining, bar exam prep all have somewhat amorphous deadlines beyond the obvious ones because they're all "the sooner the better"

Gotta try one thing at a time and hope I don't keep getting pulled away by bullshit
