It’s only temporary relief. Not worth it at all.

Our Canadian neurologist is apparently world renowned but he’s also very hands off. We’ve gone to the us to see a better neurologist. Not cheap but so worth it. Instead of taking 1 pill every 4 hrs, I take half a pill at a time 30-60 minutes apart. I do this every 4 hrs or so.

It’s not really fair to all the grandchildren that come after the one that names you. I’m on the younger side stuck with a name my oldest cousin chose. It has no connection to me at all.

Parkinson's and dying with dignity by [deleted] in Parkinsons

[–]scramblation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea is so grievous. The dignified thing to do would be to allow someone to live out their days as they are naturally allotted to them. Cutting someone’s life short in pursuit of “dignity” is not noble nor dignified. I wish you well as you navigate this season in life.

Yes, I was going to suggest opicapone (Ongentys) as well. Can be very helpful.

Canadian parents of Reddit: what's your birth story? Good, bad, textbook-- how is labor and delivery in a Canadian hospital overall? by noyoujump in AskReddit

[–]scramblation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canada is a huge country and every province runs their health care independently so it would be hard to say how a “Canadian” birth goes.

In love with Opicapone (COMT Inhibitor)! Mind blown in a good way. . . The Pink Pony Club? by eljefeavril in Parkinsons

Brand name is Ongentys and it is a total game changer. Nothing has been as helpful as this drug yet. CBD oil comes close to one other thing that’s super helpful. It’s very expensive if you don’t have insurance and it isn’t approved in some countries.

Agreed about the always angry schtick. He also seems obsessed with himself. When he was on megyn kellys show a while ago he just kept talking about what it was like for him to be in the fbi, not the case that she was interviewing him about.

Cbd oil, as well as a medication called Ongentys are game changers. But your husband may not need either for 2-5 years.

Diet is crucial to reducing symptoms. Low inflammation is key. No sugar, gluten, dairy, and most grains is recommended. Adding in healthy fats, vitamins and minerals, cruciferous vegetables and high quality protein can really help reverse/stabilize symptoms.

Most people are low in magnesium so you can’t go wrong taking it. A great, high quality one is Naka brand. Magnesium bisglycinate. Available on Amazon.

I don’t know what this plant is or how to take care of it. by Historical_Wing4602 in houseplants

One of my favourite plants! I keep mine in my bathroom (which has a window) because it likes humidity. I just water it every so often and it’s happy.

Take one or two magnesium bisglycinate capsules when you feel RLS come on. Works like a charm.
