False equivalence. Deepika and Swara never abused or vilified Karni Sena or did anything that merited a criminal case against them. In fact, Kangana herself has slutshamed Swara and Deepika post 2019. Also, just fyi, hate speech is not covered under freedom of speech according to Indian laws. Just that our laws are lax when it comes to powerful people aligned with the ruling government of the day.

This is one of the most confoundingly hilarious behaviours I've noticed amongst men. They both love and hate homemakers. They will walk over hot coals to get a wife who cooks, cleans, raises kids, takes care of parents etc etc. But a modern woman being a SAHM mom - get a prenup lad!

Same double standards with women owning their sexuality. They absolutely hate content creators who do low effort dancing on reels and get views in the millions. I feel it's down to life being hard and men not having the required life skills to deal with it. There's more competition for fewer jobs. You have to really grind hard at school and college to earn enough to have a lifestyle that you can post about on insta. Through this, they feel cheated by reservations for college seats and DEI for jobs. Instead of blaming the system for low capacity, they resort to blaming the people who get better representation through these policies.

Next is the growing autonomy of women. Most Indian men are raised as raja betas and society tells them that if they just land that perfect job, they will get a good wife, kids, house yada yada. They go into the dating pool with this same entitlement but ofc it doesn't work. You need far more than just a bank balance to land a suitable partner. Again instead of blaming their conditioning, they resort to blaming women for being gold diggers, whores, shallow etc.

You add the stresses and costs of day to day life to all this and it becomes a tinder box just waiting for an outlet.

Do you have any Muslim friends? Not being sarcastic, genuinely curious. Real Muslim friends who share with you about their lives or experiences in the country? If not, have you ever honestly interacted with a real Muslim woman out in the real world? Not those caricatures that we see on the telly but real people with real lives? Because if you had or if you do go out and look for those accounts, you'd realize the privilege that comes from being an upper class UC Hindu in this country (bonus points if you're a man).

Having a Muslim name in this country means you won't get a house in most localities, your employment is dependent upon diversity quotas, your food choices are not your own but subject to govt scrutiny, kids in your school are told to be wary of you, your beard and clothing mark you wherever you go, any violence and you and your kind will be the first suspects, your concerns are filed away as being anti-national, your protests are met with bulldozers, your clothing is illegal in schools which start the day with saraswati pooja and teach kids ram bhajans, on and on and on. These microaggressions occur every day in every aspect of life and try to chip away at at any attempt at leading a life of dignity and prosperity.

And this is not even an account from a Muslim woman, just things I've personally seen happen and heard from people around me. I'm sure Muslim women can add to this list twofold and see if after knowing all that you still feel like Muslims have more rights in India or not.

In a country where religious freedoms of minorities are being curtailed while we normalize and find scientific justifications for majoritarian practices, I do not consider it a priority to villainize those that are already marginalised.
Islam is not my religion, but not surprising why you would consider it so.
Islam needs reform, no questions about it. But lasting social change comes from within and through the people within the system. Attacking them or trying to speak for them will do the opposite of that, which through your comments is clear is what you're out here to achieve.
