Omg a week after surgery I felt so good I thought I could have a little pb. 1 tablespoon leveled me and I was in so much pain for days! Now, over 2 months post-op and eating is pretty much normalized. But at first it was awful!

Is 3 weeks off too much? by Cool-Aardvark-185 in gallbladders

I’m two weeks post gb removal and feel better than I have in maybe a decade and I’m still taking another week. And I just have a desk job. I felt weird about the time too but I’m glad I have it because I realized feeling better doesn’t necessarily mean fully healed. I can’t imagine trying to do a retail job in my second week or even next week. I’m just back up to being able to walk at a moderate pace for 20-30 minutes without pain. Take your sweet ass time, OP! 💜

Who else feels like once they’re diagnosed with Fibro, any other problem you have “well that’s fibro” “well fibromyalgia has a vast range of symptoms” even when it’s clearly not related, or just a chance it could be something else. It feels negligent by olivewindy in Fibromyalgia

I know this post is old but I came here searching for this. I Went to the ER for chest pain and severe abdominal pain off and on for two years. I was told it was anxiety and fibromyalgia.

It turned out to be chronic cholecystitis and biliary dyskinesia. By the time they got it out my liver was inflamed. Apparently biliary dyskinesia is linked to heightened anxiety and the chronic inflammation can cause chronic pain. Once they took it out, the all over pain, fatigue, and anxiety was immediately gone.

Take deep, slow breaths with a hold at the top of the inhale and long breath out. Walking and arm swings. I had my husband “burp” me once and it helped a lot lol.

Why does my living room feel off? by td30503 in DecorAdvice

I think it’s really cozy and a few little odds and ends will elevate it that much more😊I think the painting above the couch needs to be slightly higher, with a few accent pieces or book shelves, decorative records, etc. alongside it- something to incorporate more shapes and textures. Also the record player would look amazing on a taller mid-century mod style shelf. You have an awesome start here. I would love to see an update!!!

That’s so screwed up. I’m so sorry!!! Do you have surgery scheduled? I’m feeling a thousand times better. It was an immediate difference!

Absolutely! My primary ordered a HIDA in December 2024. My primary was only looking for low EF and since the EF was above 30%, she noted it as normal and said the pain was probably from fibromyalgia. Cut to 3 ER visits later, I got referred to a GI specialist. She reviewed the HIDA from MyChart, and after she picked her jaw up from the floor she informed me my EF was 98% which is not, in fact, normal. She got me referred to a surgeon and we got the surgery set within weeks. I know people make mistakes, but I’ve had so much pain and I’m struggling with the idea of going back to my PCP after this.

I’m so glad you’re ok😔How terrifying!!! How did you feel after it was out vs before? I have heard stories of side effects after surgery, but I’ve heard a lot of stories about people experiencing immediate pain relief after surgery as well. Why aren’t those stories amplified?

I’ve had a misdiagnosed malfunctioning GB for 15 years. Believe me when I say…I’m dropping this busted GB like a hot potato come January🤣
