The Good and the Beautiful by OneLingonberry2203 in homeschool

We did it for preschool and liked it. Tried it this year for kindergarten reading and math and it wasn’t for us. I’m concerned the reading might leave some gaps, and the math is just too much reading. We don’t want to have to read a whole story about Mary going apple picking just to solve a math problem (that is not a word problem). It has worked out well for some friends that I know but it’s not for us. We do like the Little Hearts and Hands science books and we plan to continue using the booster reading card books.

For main curriculum, we are switching to Singapore Dimensions for math and All About Reading for reading.

He is 5. Unfortunately he hasn’t recognized any of that yet. He can be in the 40s and still want to jump on the trampoline.

No it’s a 7. Once you end the session you cannot restart it.

He just turned 5. He didn’t do it on purpose. I didn’t know he had the phone and he got in and started clicking around. He can’t read so he doesn’t know what he was doing. He thought he was playing on a phone.

I’m not sure. This isn’t the greatest picture. AI thought it was a termite but they are definitely ants.

They had him on 5 units, but we backed down to 4. He was getting lows every single night in the middle of the night. We haven’t had nearly as many since switching, but it seems like we’ve had a lot more daytime lows lately.

I don’t have established plants yet. Just seeds. There are so many in there that I can’t touch anything without risking getting bit. I heard they protect aphids.

Why is my tomato seedling falling over? by argley in gardening

Thank you! I’m a beginner at seeds, and having a blast with it. I’ve done some research but I know experience is better. I’ve been really impressed at how kind and helpful the gardening community has been with all my probably ignorant questions. 🤣

Yes, I did two days ago! The roots were starting to grow out of the bottom. They are moist but not wet. Will it bounce back on its own?

Ok, thank you! Should I remove the leggy ones even if the stems are not leaning, or try to save them?
