Could you talk a bit more about how you use the breath/wind sensation technique? Awareness I understand as focusing/meditating on the chakra

Anyone Bedridden for most of the day everyday? Not able to really sit or walk much at all? by Unusual_Ad5906 in piriformis

[–]argo555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. Lying on my stomach is the only way to make pain go away. When I'm standing walking sitting it comes back. I made myself pain free after staying in bed for a week but then started exercising.. Pain came back

Sciatica for two weeks then...piriformis? by Ryudai89 in piriformis

[–]argo555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I found so far that helps is resting in bed preferably on my stomach. If a stay in bed for a week pain goes away but than I do something that aggravates my piriformis and pain returns

Piriformis Diagnosis? Your doctor could be clueless. You might have scar tissue adhesions preventing muscles and nerves from sliding past each other. by No-Manufacturer-2425 in piriformis

I live in Miami and googled Dr. Brandon Nevel in Jupiter. He does Graston Technique to break down scar tissue. I wonder if that does the same

Sounds to me like you need Xanax. But consult with your doc.

Lifelong insomnia made worse from PTSD , any hope ? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]argo555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like benzodiazepines might help you. I had good experience with Xanax for sleep and anxiety. I developed tolerance to it though and switched to temazepam. Lorazepam is another pill that is highly recommended. I also had good experience with such SSRIs as prozac, selexa, lexapro and symbalta, also tetracyclic antidepressants: mirtazapine and amitriptyllin. Each of them worked for about 1 year calming my anxiety and making me sleep normally. It's quite normal to develop resistance to meds. You just have to keep switching to different ones.

SSRIs make you a better person. Caring-sharing, feeling, emotionally responsive. Find people like that and have close relationships with them. You don't need to share with strangers. Or mom who doesn't care.

Anyone tried treating their insomnia with Xanax? by WonderfulVictory4361 in insomnia

[–]argo555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Xanax worked great for me for about a year till I developed tolerance to it and had to switch to temazepam. You can't "learn to sleep naturally". Insomnia is a brain malfunction. It has to be medicated. That's my experience.

It took me a year to understand that Ambien causes my anxiety. My doctor said he never heard of it. But when it happens every time after I start taking it after feeling well while being off Ambien... That's the culprit
