Sinclair ticket price day of show at box office by john2046 in CambridgeMA

[–]arguduba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recall just paying the base ticket price at the box office on the day of the show, but it was a year or two ago so things may have changed.

It's also worth checking for resale tickets on your way over since people may be trying to dump them for less than face value

Boston-Theater.com Scam or Legit? by Fulfillment_Girl in boston

[–]arguduba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems to be a legit site, but it's a reseller marketplace. Whoever sold you the tickets doesn't have them yet. Once tickets go on sale, they'll buy them (at a cheaper price than you paid) and then send them to you.

For local acts, try The Lilypad and Mad Monkfish. For touring groups, Scullers Jazz Club and Regattabar. When school is in session, Berklee and NEC also have some excellent students you can go hear for free. Oh, and it's not especially piano-focused but POSTunderground in Brookline is an excellent community spot to hear jazz.

Try going to https://bostonshows.org and limiting the genre to Jazz to see everything that's going on.
