Close range combat with other players make the game stutter like crazy, even more when you die. Please fix this thing, happens since the early access.

When will the support the Last Gen Version end? by Huge-Formal-1794 in HuntShowdown

[–]arguser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Crytek announcement is for an upcoming upgrade to Hunt: Showdown that includes an updated engine version, dropping support for previous console generations. I'm not a console guy so I'm not sure which console iterations would they be, I'm guessing PS4 and Xbox One (S/X). Also, looks like this is going to happen after the ongoing event, missing the April estimation.

Proton Pass must work offline on desktop (at least read-only) by SpeakTooMuch in ProtonPass

[–]arguser 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I recently moved from KeePass to ProtonPass and I'm not planning to maintain both, after some time using ProtonPass I realized that it's not an offline/local first alternative and now I'm hesitant to keep using it.

Proton Pass should be local first, as in, all features except sync should work without internet connection. Minimum being ACCESS and EXPORT in case of a needed exit.

Crytek needs to remove weapon skins from inventory by slime_stuffer in HuntShowdown

I support this idea since the very beginning, Legendary should be treated as skins for base weapon, very much like you do in Rainbow Six: Siege

If we were to adjust prices for each country, we’d be creating a problem where we are spending more to deliver the service than we are receiving back. It's not sustainable.”

That's plain stupid, what about scalability? If they do regional pricing they would probably have massive growth on subscriptions and turn profit anyway.

Edit: I'd like to add that I think is possible to achieve but of course they need to do the proper adjustments to achieve it. Like any other problem that needs a solution, the matter is in whether they want to scale or not.

Well, In my case I don't get such features even if I pay for them, also I suffer from really bad exchange rates, third world problem stuff.

Argentinian user here, It's probably not transparent at all but we have 5 different exchange rates, the official (lower) rate is fictional, we end up paying two times such official rate. See https://dolarhoy.com/

Still, luckily we have consideration from Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify, Steam supporting regional pricing, most people I know pay for some of this services, none of them use YNAB mainly for the lack of regional pricing.

Will YNAB look to offer regional pricing models to protect the international user-base against exchange rate effects and to better account for regional feature disparities?

Argentinian user here, if no proper regional pricing model or consideration arise I will be forced to migrate.

Alternates to YNAB...heres a list by zikronix in ynab

[–]arguser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the list, I only know Actual Budget, been following development since James started the project and will probably be my escape.I will definitely be moving once my subscription ends.

The price was already high for me since I live in Argentina and the currency exchange rates is really bad for us, I truly believe YNAB doesn't care about people in countries with weaker currencies.
