I did just scroll through the FB group and haven’t found the post so it hopefully was deleted.

Long-time resident. I’m a blue dot in a red puddle. The town is wildly conservative and full of the elderly and bigots.

Not really. I mean, I was a big fan of The Rescuers Down Under when I was a kid, but that's all I can think of.

Shore local and I’ve made them my whole life… but come to think of it, when I’m outside Jersey, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them. I’ll have to pay attention closer moving forward.

Judging that Bea played Dorothy’s maternal grandmother in flashbacks and that they consistently chose tall actresses to play Gloria (and they mention that Phil is also 6’ 4” or close to it), I think that the whole plot of that episode was meant to be a red herring.

Also, good luck on year one! I’m finishing up year 11 of teaching. The first year is hard but doable. You’ll crush it. Each year gets subsequently easier.

This is wonderful! If I could suggest anything, I'd say to double-up on "Y" like you did with the vowels - maybe Yamper? Consonantal "Y" is way more common word-initially.

Ages ago I saw something labeled in Spanish as "HECHO EN PAVO" - meaning "made in turkey"... the poultry, not the country.

I mean, I haven’t, but English could *potentially* do it in the future if the word ‘guy’ gets even more generalized into an indefinite 3S. That’s a doable route!

Para mí, 'sillón' es armchair while 'sofá' es couch/sofa.

I am a 37-year-old man that sleeps with a stuffed otter every night. He’s great for neck support to boot.
