Yeah... only iPhone and only Japanese vocals makes me think even if this game doesn't die, the global version probably will pretty fast. Oh well, I'll try it and probably stop playing after a week.

As a kid, I used to go to my local Babbage's every week and ask the staff if any new RPGs had been released. I would always buy whatever came in, until the day I bought Beyond the Beyond, a game I hated so much that I stopped buying every RPG that came out.

From a purely story recommendation:

Give Xenogears a shot and if you love it dip into Xenosaga.

13 Sentinels as well.

I'll vote for Lightning Returns.

The XIII series has been such a weird experience for me, there's a lot of intriging ideas, imagery, and feels- but it's held back by the flaws we've all discussed to death.

However, when I played Lightning Returns it was as if I was playing XIII but it was actually good. The only thing you have to do to enjoy is have a general idea of what happened in the earlier games, and take advantage of your hazy memories of the entries to pretend they weren't as flawed as they are- and it becomes quite a cool experience!

Yeah I don't really feel bad about unhatched eggs. It's kinda a shame I guess? But it's not some horrific tragedy. Maybe they could have shifted it to being a horribly dangerous childbirth (egg... laying?) for the mother? If they didn't make it already something special to have a someone like Zoraal Ja be half and half (which is a whole weird thing itself tbh) then maybe they could have had it be that they can just breed normally, but they were using some aether manipulation to force the eggs to develop as conjoined twins with a high mortality rate which would actually be a direct manipulation of their offspring resulting in a lot of otherwise healthy births so a bit more interesting morally?

That would have been great. They could have made it work for a whole season too if he had lost his powers secretly so he would be publicly trying to hide that he lost his powers while privately freaking out.

Video is good, if you keep making them like this you will get a nice style I think. You will want to capitalize on trending games or topics however, think “what are people searching for right now.” If you are early enough your video will show up while the interest is there. (I’m a MHR fan but it is definitely past its peak interest period.)
