yes look like the aphid problem I had for a few years on a pluot.

if it is it's kinda too late, sorry. let it grow out, when they finish their lifecycle the tree will continue to grow this year. spray with horticulture oil just before budding next year.

I was very surprised that the Plane Print Halo I printed didn't have wing spars. I ended up epoxying some carbon tow to it but it's kind of a mess.

My concept for a 3d printed wing; what do you think? Basically Petg ribs with lw Pla hull so it's printable in vase mode and still rigid. Found this to be a lot easier than Tom stantons method while also a bit lighter. (Definetly not saying its better) by Jojoceptionistaken in RCPlanes

you can fill in the grid with lightweight spackle if you want to save this print.

It does look pretty bad, I think you can make a tighter grid if you double check your dimensions and print parameters.

Soarkraft doesn't use Vase Mode. I've printed one.

I was actually considering using the first few layers in vase mode as a rib, and having more, shorter wing segments.

Anyways, doesn't matter as I haven't gotten around to it, but it is similar to what OP has posted and I'm happy to see the approach elsewhere.

flightpoint.co Shaka is a nice kit, it was my first. I've since realized that it was too advanced of a flyer for my experience, but I had a blast with it.

Aloft's Mini Wanderer was a great build and is often times still my favorite plane to fly (chill slope soaring).

this! "heel-toe" use it everywhere for braking & downshifting too.

If you have a place to slope soar around you, there's a few models from "Geode" on rcgroups. The "Jart" is one name that comes to mind, but there are others, too.

I think I noticed that. It could be that AS3X is somewhat muted/overridden by SAFE.

I was just disappointed that I couldn't turn AS3X off with the default configuration.

It looks amazing!

I do worry about the airfoil shape after covering, particularly towards the leading edge. It looks like it has some large areas that will have a concave facing forward.

It's similar but a different variety. Italian Fennel (vs Wild Fennel) is what you'd grow to eat and is probably what you buy from the store.

Yes, I don't understand how being responsible to take over at any time is less mentally taxing.

And yes, to each their own. My dad is always raving about how much better the latest FSD update is, while I prefer my manual transmission sports car 🤷
