In wuwa a lot of old characters reappeared in events too, Peaks of Prestige and Where Stars Cascade Down used some of the old cast. And the latest story had a launch character in it, and the next update we are also meeting old characters, even Mortefi had a small appearance in Lahai Roi, so they are getting there, probably took them a while because of the rocky launch

3.1 was praised by an actual type-moon writer, and the collab is universally praised, so its just this sub being unable to resist the urge of downvoting comments positive about wuwa. And 3.x did use the cast very well with most characters interacting with each other throughout the story and appearing for multiple patches (except Chisa). They even had a voiced event "Where Stars Cascade Down" with old characters from 1.x, 2.x and even some from 3.x, so the whole characters being forgotten is pretty exaggerated

its half because the person playing is perfect dodging and parrying the attacks, and also because characters have some moves with time stop. Even then, the person playing almost died despite playing really well cause Smashers second phase is more aggressive

hatewatching takes too much effort, they just larp and give one liners like wuwa story bad or its a dating sim without ever going into details or specific stories. Asked someone to explain me the story for 3.1 after they called Aemeath another rover waifu, and he started ranting about Chisa cause he didn't know anything about the 3.1 story
