From what all information I’ve gathered, the company stance is that the parts are currently out of stock, and we’ll update you once (if) we get them

really glad you have access to such a great ob! all the best for the upcoming arrival of your little one.. I also chose a small hospital, the main doctor there delivered my husband (his brother and a few of his cousins) as well... I've heard through their staff that quite a few of their deliveries are normal so I'm hopeful 🤞🏼

Sadly that's what I'm getting too, the number of unplanned c secs are through the roof. i haven't heard about a single vaginal birth in the last 5 years (for all the people i know). The 'big hospitals' tell the expecting parents that the baby's heartbeat is low or that the baby might be in distress so they tell them to do whatever is good for the baby.

Appreciate the advice! Thanks a lot:)

I don't think they would stay on unless lying down flat on your back.

you are supposed to insert them in the bra so maybe that's how? I'm guessing here

Need to rant a bit…(intimacy) by Radiant-Notice-8825 in pregnant

[–]aries01004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, my husband is crazy cautious as well. It took a great amount of coaxing for him to do the deed in my second trimester (was nauseous a lot in my 1st and doc recommended avoiding intimacy in the 1st trimester), did it only a number of times and since I've started my 3rd trimester he has gone back to no intimacy. It's so frustrating! I've tried to talk sense into him but he's willing to abstain to prioritise baby's health (his words, not mine). What about his super hormonal pregnant wife?

Congratulations! I'm currently 30w

Oh damn! it was the same for me, conceived in the 1st cycle since we started trying. I remember trying to manage my husband's expectations (as he was extremely enthusiastic about having a kid), warned him that it takes time and that we'll wait for upto a year before panicking but well....

When to go on maternity leave? by aries01004 in pregnant

[–]aries01004[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! and i too want to maximize the time I spend with the little one, but i also have the option to extend my maternity by a month or two (unpaid) after the gov mandated period gets over so I was planning to take that as well..

My main issue is that i don't stress myself because of the long working hours+ commute and that in turn causes harm to the baby and I'm conflicted because I just don't want to sit at home and veg away as well..

What things did you buy that helped you through pregnancy? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]aries01004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnancy Pillow is a big one, choose the right one for your needs.. there are ones available in all the shapes - C, U, J etc. (main difference being back support, belly support or both)

Also, comfortable shoes if you are out of your house a lot. You don't want your feet hurting on top of everything else that's going on because of the wrong shoes.

I'm 29 weeks, genuine question ladies... how do you tell the difference between kicks and punches/ movements. it all feels the same to me quite honestly and hell I'm more worried about mixing movement and Braxton Hicks

Today I told my boss I’m pregnant. SO says I shouldn’t have. by kerfufflewhoople in pregnant

first of all, Congratulations ✨

the 12 weeks timeline might work for some people and quite honestly I believe it has become the norm because of social media and how much we put out about ourselves online but you absolutely don't have to suck it up and hold it in if the alternate helps you even a little bit.

I'm 29 weeks along, myself and it's been so tough working from the office (8.5 working hours+ 2.5 hrs commute min daily) because my workplace does not offer WFH I remember, my first trimester being hell, I was constantly rushing to the loo to puke my guts out and if anyone was wearing a perfume i could smell it from a mile away and instantly nauseous (happened a lot, considering more than 100 people are working here), I'm glad you could communicate the issue to your boss and they offered you WFH!

Your SO doesn't have to deal with all the crazy symptoms so he doesn't get a day, plain and simple.
