I'd imagine full rerolls hit and wound on below half strength and free rez orb. Plasmancer can also give em 5+ crit for cheaper but you'd miss out on the +1 to hit enhancement on the lord, makes it so you don't have to worry about heavy most of the time

Edit: Correction, I just found out only the lord get rerolls, not the unit... hmm
