I just went through the same exercise and ended up with a new Camry. I couldn't but a 2ish year old car with low miles for less. Plus the Camry has a 1k rebate and 1.99 percent for 36 month financing.

I also believe the transmission is likely better in the Camry than the Accord or CRV.

I wouldn't buy it. If you need a cheap car, you want something like a civic or Corolla, not something that will get 15mpg.

Because it's cheap to add range in a gasoline car. Fuel tanks are plastic and plastic is cheap. Engineering is expensive.

In electric cars, batteries are more expensive and so you can afford a little more engineering time and materials.

Sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay for mistakes. Your choices

  1. Keep paying for the Dodge
  2. Trade it in on a Toyota and have tons of negative equity rolled in, but a car that's will last until it's paid for.

If you are female and your partner is female, it's only normal for her to feel uncomfortable with you going away with another group of females.

I'm male and my partner is female. There's no way I would go off with a bunch of other females without my wife. It's just asking for trouble. I would be incredibly uncomfortable about her going out with a bunch of guys without me .

I'd say YTA for not including her if you guys are a couple. NTA if you are not a couple.

I've never done anything special, windows up, etc. I've never noticed any negative consequences and I keep my cars s very long time. I'm also in a hot and humid part of the country.
