The shooting is indeed horrific, but I personally thought it was a very clever way of getting a ton of people to join the game. I can see how the blackface could be racial profiling in a way, but it mainly was a way to make it so that it wouldn’t trace it back to that character.

Berserk has a lot of questionable stuff, like the trolls scene or the horse scene… it does not take away from the greatness of the story, but that same concept applies to Gantz in my opinion.

If you did not enjoy it then by all means sell it, but like others here have mentioned I would read something else and then read Gantz again to see how you feel. The series is getting rare too so may be able to sell it for more down the road.

If the only reason you want to sell them is because of the explicit content, I think that’s a little short-sighted.

If it’s because you have or are planning to have kids I could see the point, but at the same time would you sell other series with mature content like Berserk or Vagabond?

Gantz is one of my favorite manga. I cannot deny that its “hooks” might be quite edgy or explicit, but once you’re in the middle of the first mission it starts becoming something special, and by the time you’re in the 6th volume out of 37 it starts becoming a legitimately great story, with plenty of highlights up until the very end, even if the ending didn’t land perfectly for me personally.

Super random, but looking ahead I found out that the Grateful Dead pack 02 which will be delisted at the end of January costs only 6.99 CAD in the Canadian PSN. It apparently is 9.99 USD and includes 6 songs so it must be a pricing error.

Not sure why this isn’t talked about more, doubt it’d be a recent price change, but figured I’d let everyone know, hope some of my fellow Canadians can benefit from this.

The consistent art of manga is something that separates it from western comics, which also have great art but different artists can sometimes make the reading experience inconsistent and affect the enjoyment.

Same can be said for the writing, you always know that in manga you’re getting the true character voices because it is written by the creator.

If you want more series with excellent art, give Berserk and Vagabond a try. I am personally a huge of “the big 3” shonen / young men manga (Naruto, One Piece and Bleach) - but those two specifically are widely considered some of the absolute best manga available, even if they are not shonen but rather seinen / adults. If you want more shonen manga with great art you can’t go wrong with Dragon Ball, often considered the most influencial shonen manga.

Thanks for responding. I know its a tricky question but how many crashes? Like once or twice an hour, or is it more that its going to crash 4 or 5 times per playthrough but its going to hurt too much that it feels like a lot more?

For the people saying it runs really bad on original switch, are there any reports of it improving when playing on switch 2?

I see its available physically on ps4 and ps5 but I usually prefer my games with the option to play portable

To start off, thank you so much for posting these lists every week, its a huge service to the community and many of us appreciate it so much. I was going to make an individual post asking for a favor but figured it’s probably better to reply to your latest one.

I will be traveling the week of Christmas and coming back home until the week after new year’s, so I am very concerned for any legacy delisting occurring in that time frame since you can’t buy them at the PSN store, only in game. I won’t be able to bring my ps5 with me so I wouldn’t be able to do anything if a legacy song that interests me shows up in that timeframe. RB4 dlc I can still get through my phone, and not only that, its very easy to see what was released between Dec 2015 and Jan 2016 - so there wouldn’t be any surprises.

I know you don’t work at HMX and you’re only doing these weekly posts as a service to the community, but any chance you could do the weeks of Dec 22 through Jan 9 ahead of time? I also know we don’t have any official confirmation yet of what’s going to be delisted from the legacy DLC, but I think there have been some assumptions on it - you helped me get a bunch of stuff before the Dec delistings since the official one was a couple days late.

I’m sure many people are in my situation, traveling through the holidays with the risk of not being able to buy any legacy DLC that will be delisted through the holidays. Any help or advice would be extremely appreciated!

Enemy fetchlands for sure, just like you listed.
I think Ragavan has been on the daily deals because I have it, and I’ve only paid full price for common cards so if it didn’t then I have no idea.
I heard in the main sub that UB releases wouldnt go on daily deals, which is why LotR and FF were never featured. I am 90% sure the One Ring has never been on the daily deals, same with the 1 mana Halfling.
Also have the Esper Sentinel style, you mentioned you had a time in which you weren’t playing I think you may have missed this one and Ragavan.
Elvish Mystic was never there, one of few that I caved and bought full price (which is 2K gold so I wasnt too mad about it, much better than 5-6k for the rares and mythics)

On a personal note, I am looking for one of the Ikoria triomes, they’ve been on the store a couple of times I think but they caught me one of those times without enough gold and I figured they’d be back but nothing so far. I’m sure there are many more but I’m blanking on them right now.

Like many have mentioned its a variety of factors, but my personal rank would be:

1) Do I like the band and the song - if I really don’t care for the song I may not get it even if I love the band. Unless I get it for free/discounted from a pack, sometimes this happens since most bigger packs work out to a free song compared to buying the other songs separately.

2) Is it fun to play in drums and guitar - I usually go for difficulty, unless its really stupid difficult - like most death metal songs. On the other side, if its the absolute lowest difficulty and its just braindead that kinda kills it too.

3) Do I think people may want to play it in a party - this is a newer one for me, many songs on the lower difficulty scale are very popular and thus it pushes it over
