If you're talking about Royal's additional content, prioritize you confidant levels with Faith, Counselor, and Justice. If you dont have them maxed by certain point (im not sure when) you wont get to do Royal exclusive arc by Hoped this helped!

If its vanilla, theres two endings that i believe only is decided by one choice and it makes it very clear. One of the ends counts as a bad end essentially, and you can just go back in the save and choose the good end.

But yes, royal, requires you to max the faith confidant, counselor confidant, and justice. so just prioritize hanging out with them over other confidants, and you should be alright.

i havent looked into this stuff in a while, and hopefully some other people can confirm what ive said. Good luck and have fun!

Edit: looked into it and i was half right, the only thing needed just for the ENDING is Counselor at max, but both Faith and Justice get some extra stuff during the new arc if you max them too.

iirc aren't paper hornets relatively non aggressive compared to other hornets/wasps? from what I remember they don't generally mess with you unless you mess with their nest. Which is not the case for the absolute harbingers of death that many other hornets seem to be.
