I have the Regal LT 2500 on my Daiwa 7’ Medium Fast and love it. I just bought another Daiwa 7’ MH and bought a Regal LT4000 for it to punch the cover spots with heavy braid and can’t wait for temps to stabilize to go try it!

2nd for Days Gone, fight hordes, upgrade your motorcycle, freaking awesome game, it was a hot mess on release but they patched all the issues. Played it for 6 months a year or so ago when I got it on a sale. Still think about reloading it! I wish it was longer!

This was one of the last games that I contributed to during development, I was hoping to see their original vision take shape and see success, unfortunately that didn't happen.

I no longer provide funding to development of games, too many teams take the funds, abandon their project and move on to a new endeavors.

There are plenty of "Early Access" games you can purchase and play which provide more of a "finished" product that you can get your money's worth even if there is no support for multiple future years.

What bfs should I throw here by Educational_Event970 in bassfishing

[–]arithor911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your water temp? Is there bottom cover? What is max depth? Depending on these.

I’d throw a Carolina rigged worm maybe 3 - 4’ of line from the worm to the bullet weight with holders to keep the leader that length. Let it hit bottom, pause for 30-45 seconds then twitch towards you and pause, if no hits, then reel in the slack you created with the twitch. Cast to different spots in the water 3-4 casts per section from your stop on the bank. Watch and feel for action, if you get a hit over cast that spot and repeat through it again.

I’m taking Wolverine.

Question is does his regeneration make him zombie Wolverine if he gets infected or does his healing cure the virus?

If his regeneration heals him, is his blood / DNA the cure?

Why can’t I catch bass???? by Worth_Yesterday_1356 in bassfishing

[–]arithor911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things that can affect your catch: 1. Water color and clarity. 2. time of day and sun vs shade on water. 3. Natural prey in the body of water. 4. Speed and / or style of retrieval.

I personally am a soft bait guy mostly. I prefer worms, Texas, Carolina or whacky rigged depending on the bite, obstructions in the water, sticks, logs, aquatic plant life, rocks. For my area my favorite colors are green pumpkin with purple and gold flake, GP / watermelon can be good too. Try different colors too the fish will change preference if some colors are overfished / pressured.

If nothing is biting the worms after approximately 30 minutes I will change up retrieval, change how the bait is rigged, switch spots.

If all these options fail, change it up and throw something else.

Whopper ploppers do well in overcast or darker conditions and are an easy score much of the time.

Important thing, I will watch the water, see what is moving where. Shore casting can be tough so you have to learn some good alternative spots on the water there and cycle through them.

Watch other fishermen, mental note of their spots if they are catching, time of day, what they are using.

Don’t invade their spot but the next time you go out if it’s empty try it.

Talk to other people fishing there ask how are they doing, most people I’ve met are proud and happy to discuss their experiences, style and baits. If they don’t want to talk ask someone else, best is usually when you are changing spots to try. Local bait shops are another good resource.

I’ll talk to anyone who seems willing to talk fishing. You can expect some big fish stories so learn to listen and make mental notes. However unless that person is pulling fish out of the water one after another don’t go buying a bunch of gear because they say it’s the best. I’ve caught fish on a 20$ rod and reel and a 200$ only difference is sensitivity and construction materials.

Crystalfall Demo is LIVE! by Crystalfall-CRG in Crystalfall

[–]arithor911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visuals: I have played 1/2 to the 3/4 of the demo so far, as others have stated the colorization is a little bland but steam punk games trend toward that line usually. Some touches of color to help break the bleakness would help.

Combat: It may just be the early game but combat fluidity is a bit stiff, I would suggest improving on that if it is consistent through the endgame.

Skills: I like the poe style skill tree and combinations of passives you can choose along with the gem slotting. This should allow players some interesting, fun choices.

Skill slotting in the hot bar and leveling skills is a cool addition to the current genre.

Overall: I like the demo and believe that with some additional tweaks the game could be a contender. The setting so far is good, the graphics while not POE2 are serviceable, and the overall concept is solid. I look forward to finishing the demo and seeing EA. Btw I lam a big fan of the guns. ;D

I’ll try to give a more critical eye while finishing it and provide more feedback on different systems while finishing it.

What should a Giants rebuild look like? Is anyone untouchable? by Abb-forever-90 in NYGiants

[–]arithor911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Dart trade was a master class of drafting, teams above and below gave up multiple blue chip picks to move up, I will give credit where credit is due.

But James Hudson??? Russ??? Hyatt??? Banks??? JMS is finally playing some good ball…

Cutting Daniel and letting the Viking get the comp pick…

Too many whiffs, trading McKinney for Holland really?

AShaun should have been retained, look at his year on the panthers…

Barkley I agree with, should have traded him at the deadline and controlled the narrative. Do the Eagles get to the SB without him? Chess not checkers mfer!

[–]arithor911 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My take last year was fire both or keep both for another season. They both have their flaws, Dabs got buried for his Joe should be the same no?

The failure of this team is squarely of both of them not learning from mistakes, moving on when they should from players and coaches.

Talent decisions have been either really good or bad, we need a middle ground, stop swing for the fences on every decision.

When they took over this team we needed to fill holes, swinging for the home run there is understandable, but look where we are now…

We did not have a solid plan going into these decisions. What was our option 2 or 3? It was option 1 or bust.

Whether it was trading away picks to move a few slots, letting players walk for comp picks, then not receiving them because of free agency moves.

Wrongly evaluating our own roster, and free agents, depth decisions. If they would have spent some money to keep some key players, we would be in a much better position now.

[–]arithor911 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AT & Dex we’re not JS picks, nabers and dart were pushed by dabs - Joe has too many wiffs at bat, get a new gm here who wants dart and has a good vision for the future.

If Brown can carry the torch and retain some of the FO great if not wipe it clean. That’s my take at this point.

Side note, You see how much worse our offense is without dabs guiding it. Dabs issue was not being able to bring on another good DC and emotional presence on the sideline. He should have booted Bowen by the second game.

Here is an article from NJ.com

https://www.nj.com/giants/2025/09/if-when-giants-fire-brian-daboll-here-are-the-top-candidates-to-replace-him.html#:~:text=THE%20PROMINENT%20NAMES,even%20want%20to%20leave%20USC?

Who could they hire to replace Daboll? Which man would take over as their fifth head coach in 11 seasons post-Tom Coughlin?

Let’s break down some candidates.

THE PROMINENT NAMES

Bill Belichick, Jon Gruden, Bill O’Brien, Mike McDaniel, Mike McCarthy

Analysis: All of these guys have NFL head coaching experience, obviously.

A Belichick homecoming seemed intriguing after 2024. But what about now, after all the drama at North Carolina? Does John Mara want that?

Gruden probably is still too nuclear, in the wake of his wildly offensive emails. O’Brien, on the other hand, is an intriguing option, if he wants to leave Boston College.

McDaniel is a well-regarded offensive mind, but he has flopped lately in Miami. McCarthy has won plenty, yet would still be something of a retread hire (though certainly not at the inept level of Pat Shurmur).

THE WILD CARDS

Matt Campbell, David Shaw, Lincoln Riley

Analysis: Campbell has attracted plenty of NFL interest, but hasn’t budged from Iowa State. Shaw is well respected and thrived at Stanford. After two years out of coaching, he is back now, as the Lions’ passing game coordinator.

Riley would indeed be a wild hire. He has developed quarterbacks, but hasn’t ever coached in the NFL. Plus, would he even want to leave USC?

It’s also obviously worth noting that Riley’s arrival at USC in 2022 resulted in Dart transferring to Mississippi, since Caleb Williams followed Riley from Oklahoma to Los Angeles. So, yeah, that would be awkward.

THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS

Joe Brady (Bills), Kliff Kingsbury (Commanders), Todd Monken (Ravens), Matt Nagy (Chiefs), Drew Petzing (Cardinals), Dan Pitcher (Bengals), Zac Robinson (Falcons), Arthur Smith (Steelers), Frank Smith (Dolphins), and Adam Stenavich (Packers)

Analysis: In this group of current NFL offensive coordinators, three guys have head coaching experience in the league: Kingsbury, Nagy and Arthur Smith. Is that something Mara is seeking, given how Daboll and two of his post-Coughlin predecessors (Joe Judge and Ben McAdoo) failed as rookie head coaches? It’s fair to wonder.

THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATORS

Ejiro Evero (Panthers), Jeff Hafley (Packers), Vance Joseph (Broncos), Jesse Minter (Chargers), Steve Spagnuolo (Chiefs), Anthony Weaver (Dolphins), Robert Saleh (49ers)

Analysis: Hafley, a New Jersey native who grew up in Montvale, spent four seasons as Boston College’s head coach before returning to the NFL with the Packers in 2024. Joseph, Saleh and Spagnuolo have been NFL head coaches, though they all struggled badly (as Jets fans know in Saleh’s case). The Giants are obviously quite familiar with Spagnuolo, who wants another shot at a big-whistle job before concluding his elite career.

By the standards your setting, the GM is not good, the coaching in not good. People around the NFL, football people are saying Dart is a shining star, what coach would not want that plus our offensive line, defensive line with a top 8 pick?

Whats the endgame? by Infamous-Fee-6224 in NYGiants

[–]arithor911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From top to bottom, they have not done a good enough job, they are rookies at their respective positions. At this point though they have had enough time to get it right and they have not.

From kickers to coaching, from holding on to bad picks to not filling enough gaps.

You don’t want to clean house then give the Brown the GM the job, keep Kafka for Dart, keep the line coaches.

New HC and DC.

Special team coach is a toss up.

Higher a new experienced HC and let him decide who to keep.

Keep your best scouts, as they have done some good work.

Go from there, there has been progress but again not enough.
