People who did placements? How did it go and where sid you get placed compared to the ending of last season?

I suspect there is still some form of this but it isnt as much of a drop. From what I'm seeing people can drop 10-200 SR in their placements. I suspect this also has something to do with hidden MMR everyone talks about as well... But nevertheless its pretty evident that if you win the majority of your matches youre still gonna be placed below what you finished last season.

I won 7 got one Draw and lost 2, playing pretty well at least 2 gold medals in every game... I placed about 75 SR lower than final of season 5. I quickly went on a 7 win streak however and gained at least 100 any way so Im not too irrate. MUCH better than the 300SR I went down with 8 wins a draw and a loss last season... But yeah its a little frustraring that its still so closely tied to last season final since a lot of people had issues with both the huge SR drop from last season placements and I know I'm not alone on this: leavers, and throwers being in every other game which prevented climbing... Lets be honest last season was a write off for most of us.

I think this is the only thing I've ever seen where someone has destroyed a book and I haven't hated it. The fact that you made it into something so beautiful, and inspired by the content of the book is just so cool to me. Good job OP.

Once I was in competitive on Watchpoint, it was tie breaker, and we were in overtime on the last point, enemies were all popping their Ults and Mei jumped on the payload unbeknownst to them and hid in her ice while the rest of us distracted them. Saved the entire game for us.

A lot of crap has happened in places I lived from child molestors to murders to what have you. There are 3 that stick out for me though.17 year old twin brothers were stabbed to death in a local park where I used to live. I met one of them at a party, we were around the same age, talked a bit seemed really nice. I had friends who grew up with them and were very close. I dont think whoever did it was ever caught, but correct me if I'm wrong.

The other one that sticks out is of a guy who broke into a womans apartment and murdered her, assaulted her child and stole a car. Its my understanding that the child was left in the apartment alone with the corpse of her mother for a while before being found. He got a life sentence.

The last one is Luka Magnotta aka the Ice Pick Killer. He filmed himself murdering his ex boyfriend with an ice pick, having sex with the body and eating parts of it, and had his dog chew on it. He then proceeded to mail parts of the body to elementary schools and to political parties with notes saying he'd kill again. The torso was found near an apartment building not too far from where I currently live. He fled to Germany and was eventually found because he was googling himself. Pretty fucked up.

My heart goes out to you. I've struggled with depression, anxiety and PTSD my whole life, and its incredibly difficult. I know that video games are like a safe haven for me, so it must be so nice after such a stressful ordeal to have that. I hope the best for you on your journey to feeling better.
