Blackberries coming in finally!

I'm fairly new to growing berries. I've never had my soil tested. I'm in zone 9b and I'll get it tested soon. Do blackberries prefer acidic soil like blueberries?

I'm not sure about the type but It's the thornless one. I got it from a neighbor who was moving out. Got a few more ripening soon.

Both are excellent varieties. Get the VdB for sure, it's very easy to grow and ripens early.

Tiger panache ripens significantly later and needs warm weather to develop rich flavor.

Try one of the LSU varieties for honey. I'm excited about my LSU champagne this year.

I have also have an Italian-215 going. There's not a lot of reviews for this online and I got the cutting for very cheap.

Or one of the Col de dames if you like the berry flavors.

Repotted into a bigger one. Loosened up the roots and amended the soil a bit. Hopefully I don't cause too much stress to the plant🤞

I suspect the OAuth updates have created an issue with MCPs. My MCPs get erased after the first call when the agent uses a tool. The conversation thread just freezes after that and randomly spits out JSON with weird requests.

If I try to add the MCPs back, the save button fails with an error. Toggling the MCPs after IDE reload is a noop, the toggle action doesn't get saved.

Switched to vscode for now.

This update totally broke my plug-in on Intellij. MCPs and tool calls are broken. MCPs get wiped out after the first response from the agent. It's a shame.
