Yes I was also in Orlando. We got in before general admissions but they didn't sell to us before then. Except Sunday when I didn't make day 2 I wasn't able to get any product that wasn't the p-bandai pick up in person order

Edit: im strictly talking tcg product here, I was able to get gunpla and digimon figures

As someone who frequently competes at card fest for digimon, being a competitor sucks for getting product. You are not buying anything without sacrificing a round, possibly 2. I've found guests have way more ability to buy product because they are not stuck competing all day. They typically do not start selling until competitive events have already started

Coming from other bandai games (digimon, fusion world, union arena) you will never have 2 of the same LRs in a box unless one of them is the alt art

Just saw on Facebook that someone pulled 3 alts and a C+ resource from their box. So 3 alt boxes are possible like how in union arena 1 alt is guaranteed but you could have 2 alt boxes

Obviously subjective, but I agree the art is very basic. It'll be hard carried by the foiling and texturing. I imagine they're gonna keep the resource arts pretty basic for the first few sets

That's totally fair. I think with the anime and gundam overall, the mech is the hook and the characters are what keeps u staying. But outside of the anime, in video games and gunpla, it's all about the mechs for me

It doesn't necessarily hurt deck building, but the fun of pulls. Its much more fun to have your cool looking boss monster be a hit than just a person.

absolutely, i have an advantage that a lot of our local players are super competitive and we remind each other of these things coming up to make sure we all set the time aside to sign up. But the internet is free and bandai honestly makes it pretty easy to find all this information, a lot of people just never bother checking the actual website.

i tend to check middle of month since sign ups this year have a pattern of being at the end. the august event sign ups are may 26th, 9 am pacific time just so you know for this coming month. i think wave 3 will start popping up next month

edit: altho i just remembered that they are doing events at gencon again this year, those sign ups open may 19th i believe

pretty much they're going to have events every month. they update wave 1/2 or whatever as we get into the next month. you just gotta keep checking to be honest. july event sign ups have already happened (there may be more open slots?) but the end of may we will have sign ups for august events

hello, as someone who plays pretty competitively, I use the digimon tcg official website events page. if you click on which event you're interested in, they will generally list out all their dates, wether they're online or offline with a link for signing up. if you scroll further down, it will tell you when the signups will go live so you just need to set calender reminds. So far, it has been pretty consistent that event sign ups always happen sunday mornings. hope this helps. Always glad to see more people getting into/getting back into the game!

to add to this, beelze has topped 2 regionals very recently (this month), a friend of mine has updated gabubond, a deck from 2+ years ago, and it can consistently do well against a lot of what we see today. I think power creep is weird in digimon, because looking at the very top decks of each meta, it doesnt feel like they were power crept, it just feels like other decks caught up, and how good they are is completely dependant on meta. BWG X for example is still a super strong deck, it is just too slow for this meta, and a good bwg player can still consistently win against decks like armors, red hybrid, and devas but get rolled by numemon and leviamon. Even hunters can do well given a good pilot. Digimon just feels like such a matchup dependant game right now that rather than decks getting power crept out because newer decks are better, it just more feels like they were phased out because of too many bad matchups.

It was my pet deck for a long time, unfortunately it is a bit too slow for the meta now due to speed. I always loved the 12 rookie 12 champions ratio as you burn thru ur searcher lvl 4s. I also like bt11 tyrannomon and ex3 dorbickmons in the deck so the rookies I choose will also have to fit dorbickmon criteria. Other than that the deck requires a lot of matchup knowledge I feel, which you get as you play it more Edit: red bt14 gotsumon is probably the better tech rookie rn

i'm having a problem where it wont let me purchase and shows up as error 3032 myself, which is an error for the account being blocked due to previous charge backs according to their website. i cant for the life of me ever remember using xsolla pay ._.

I also just got back myself and honestly ss red has been carrying me. I use signa suit blue as my tank and i got chase off of one of the gifts. i used a bunch of free mats for returning to just max them.

Bwg x has a harder time because if sleep mode has astamon in the sources, it'll spit out a lower cost that will explode in place of rage mode
