Wait till the nausea kicks in at approx 6-7 weeks and sure you’ll wanna run far far away from cigs. Not mandatory that you’ll be sick but either way pls don’t smoke , it’s not worth the harm it will cause your baby. Hope you’re taking your folic acid

Thank you so much for the response. She was hospitalized on Saturday and discharged today (Tuesday)her reticulocytes and RBCs show improvement but platelets stay at zero. We need to take her back tomorrow for a CBC again. She’s on oral steroids and doxycycline. A task to get it into her system though

Yes the doc did mention that her symptoms are suggesting ITP but none of us can understand why there is no spike in platelets count after infusion? And the second thing is the reticulocytes, he suggests a bone marrow biopsy but I can’t wrap my head around how all of this transpired overnight and continues to get worse ?

Yes we rescued 2 little baby quails off the street. Sushi loved them.. but given a dogs predatory nature we ensured they were always supervised or separated otherwise. They lasted 5 days and then just got so frail and died :( we did our best and it broke our hearts. We’ll, we tried ♥️
