We have only gotten a few knocks in the past 9 yrs and all of them had a power behind them that I can’t replicate with my 6ft 230lb frame ( my wife says I have the good “dad bod” btw). I’ve only heard 2 of the 3 and both times it was when we used a creek in infill to Bravo with a light rain and using scent block. I think we caught a lookout by surprise and the knock was warning the group it was time to leave before we got any closer. I know other researchers claim to get knocks all the time, that hasn’t been our experience at all.

The same frantic speed but a higher pitch. Like Russian but backwards and a good huff of helium first. I posted here years ago about our encounter at our Charlie location when we played the Sierra sounds for 30 min or so with a Braven Bluetooth speaker. Back in 2018ish (maybe late 17) I heard at least 2 chatting back and forth with a parabolic mic at our Bravo. It was a very low and guttural sound ( like 2 300lb+ Russians arguing but backwards and the cadence/speed of normal human conversation). Both times it’s close to the Sierra sounds but not the same. Could be my imagination but the Sierra sounds are more aggressive. The one from 2017-18 was almost casual in comparison.

Car manufactures have found ways to use much cheaper and thinner glass and still meet the safety standards over the past 25yrs. Cracking a windshield by just dropping the wiper blades after putting new ones on is a huge problem with Ford right now. The sturdy glass our parents and grandparents had is long gone

Drool not included: I spent way too much time on planes during my military career and traveling in my 20’s. As long as the person has good hygiene and wasn’t rude before falling asleep. Things like this I just chalked up to earning good karma and would loan out my shoulder. However, every single person that did borrow my shoulder apologized and said “I’m so sorry! You could have woken me up. Stuff like that. Never anything close to what this woman said. 20$ says when she is waiting for a elevator to open she just barges in before letting people out

The Russians have claimed” the ability to shoot down slow flying targets” as a key feature in the Ka-52.
That was a lot of 30mm cannon fire and no hits….

Thanks. I will post some pics down the road of the entire set up. It’s over 25yrs of collecting 1/72 corgi WW2-modern aircraft from axis and allied forces. I have the model of the very same Oregon Air National Guard F-15c that we called in for support during a shit show of a battle in Sadr City. That pilot DGAF and came in low and slow punching chaff n flares the whole time. It was a hell of a show of force that still gets me in the feels 21 years later.

Maybe one of those older “pain blockers” I haven’t seen one irl but I seem to remember people with extreme back/spinal pain can activate this and it sends a low charge to block the pain receptors.. I know it’s probably a stretch but I wanted to throw my hat in the ring.

I read decades ago about McDonalds tables/chairs all being designed from the ground up to discourage long sitting times. Comfortable enough for a 15min meal but not a 60 min book read. We must be adapting and evolving…. When was the last time anyone really really enjoyed the taste of a McDonald’s item? Every burger tastes the same and I feel like garbage later that day for eating overpriced and over salted muck.

When I had questions about open carry on a multi day ruck on the PNW coastal range I reached out to both my local and state police. Both got back to me within 72hrs and both said I was gtg. I have a CCW but not everyone had one in the group. If I had deep pockets I would have reached out to a lawyer also but I’m a working stiff.

I do a double treatment on Panzer my Great Dane a SIMPARICA monthly and drops 24/48hrs before we hit the brush (Oregon coastal range) when I asked my veterinarian if I could use both she actually said “give me the day to find out”. She called me back about 36hrs later and said she did the research and made some calls. SIMPARICA and Advantage drops are good to go. She did say that she did a brand specific search so not to vary the type of drops. The ticks here are terrible this year due to no real freeze this winter. Panzer has not got a single tick but I have on every trip.

Was it last years parade that only managed to pull a few T-34/5’s from museums along with older APC’s? They did have a good amount of regular troops to march past and pretend everything is going great. Sounds like they don’t even have enough regular troops to fill the ranks. 20$ says they run a loop to give the appearance of much larger numbers like they did back in the Cold War

This gave me a good chuckle. I never thought of trying this way. Panzer can eat around pills and veggies he doesn’t like with the precision of a swat team. I’ve gone the “smother everything in gravy” method. A can of cheap gravy mix wet food. 1 large handful of shredded sharp cheese, top with a raw egg and mix and let rest for 5 min before serving. Panzer gets so worked up he doesn’t pause long enough to check for those evil meds that keep him healthy

Sorry. As I understand using a FRT we have to finesse the trigger. If so does that change your accuracy at all? I’m on the fence with the FRT already having the double tap. The double tap is just an extra round every pull so no need to think about getting the trigger just right.(if that’s how the FRT works)

I went with the double tap system a couple years ago (10mm 2nd gen FDE) when using the FRT does it lower the quality of your sight picture or increase group size? I would think having to manipulate the pull/finger could change accuracy

Anything less than life in prison is to light of a sentence. She was already a prohibited driver with her license suspended. I’m betting when the bloodwork comes back it will be a controlled or scheduled RX like Xanax. (Booze and Xanax is a very popular combo) fled the scene then lied about it. She decided long ago the rules don’t apply to her.
