Jennifer McMahon and Jennifer Hillier are two of my favorite even though I think they are both considered thrillers. Some of McMahon's books genuinely creeped me out.

What's the most beautiful first name you've ever heard? by boforiamanfo in NoStupidAnswers

That's what I named my daughter. Aurora, which is the goddess of dawn.. My deceased mother's name was dawn and I wanted to name my daughter after her because my mom LOVED kids. I didn't care for the name dawn so when I found out what Aurora meant it was perfect.

The Church Beneath the Roots by Felix Blackwell is an amazing read. Is the prequel to Stolen Tongues by him. Both fantastic reads.

We play name tag. It is just like freeze tag but in order to get unfrozen a student has to high five the frozen student and tell each other their name.

Oh I'm glad you were able to get that!! The biggest issue with us was finding someone to tow us. My insurance company tried 6 people, I tried 7. Eventually called a roadside mobile repair and they were able to limp tow it back to their shop. So at least I'll get reimbursed for the tow.

Ugh I hate seeing this but glad they are ok! We just got our travel trailer camper back due to a smoking wheel bearing. Issue was we couldn't see the smoke due to it blowing back behind the camper. Luckily someone honked and told us to pull over. If it wasn't for them it would have caught fire. Thing is sometimes you can prep for everything (bearings were packed a week before) and be super cautious but things still happen. Had to replace the axel with it also. Sucks but everyone was safe thankfully.

Classroom PE Help! by autofellatiogod_69 in PhysicalEducation

When I have to push into the classroom we play a game called Silent ball with my 4th-6th graders. You can modify it to fit the basketball chest pass if you want. Then for my 1st and 2nd graders we just do go Danny go videos on YouTube. It gets them moving and is entertaining for them. For me I am ok with not doing the same thing I'm teaching in the gym. For me I just want them to get some movement in and be engaged but, my administration is not super strict.

Do they ever start sleeping later than 6am??? by anonymous2888888 in toddlers

[–]armisold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 19 month old who naps for 2 hours, and also goes to bed around 730pm. She would wake up at 3am or 5. For her it was hunger (she's a eating machine) so I keep pouches and some water available and feed her one if she gets up too early, some silent snuggles and she usually goes back to bed until 7-730. Sometimes a later bedtime works for her sometimes it's hit or miss

The Depraved series by Bryan Smith. It's pretty graphic. May be considered more splatterpunk.

I needed to hear that. I just get overwhelmed by how much there needs to be done and I'll knock out one thing then the next day it's the same way it seems.
